Does Obama Need To Produce Birth Certificate As Proof For His New Federal Job (POTUS)?
Anyway, Phil Berg wants to make sure that Obama is eligible. Seems to me that in order to obtain ANY job in the USA, you have to prove that you are legally entitled to work in the States.
Isn't Obama required to produce the Birth Certificate as a primary source of proof?
After the fix that was this election, I’d say Berg has a better chance of being stuffed in a wood chipper.
Obama cannot pass a security clearance. Any that was real.
The defendants are required to respond to the Writ of Certiorari by December first, after which Mr. Berg will have an opportunity to respond.

I sure hope that the issue of Obama’s birth certificate, and lack thereof, does not die. And Phil Berg isn’t the ONLY one who wants to make sure that Obama is eligible to hold the highest office in our country.
I and everyone I know has talked about this subject over and over again, and not one of us can think of any good reason why Obama refuses to show his BO. He’s hiding something and I hope that everyone keeps putting pressure on him to produce it....BEFORE the inauguration.
No, he isn’t so required. While yes he must be a natural-born citizen, there is no mechanism in place to require proof thereof. It’s up to others to prove that he is not eligible.
While of debatable value, he HAS released a copy of a document legally certifying that the state of Hawaii recognizes his birth in that state. Yes, there are problems with that - but there it is, and it is so recognized by other government entities, and proving it inadequate is on the shoulders of someone other than our president-elect.
Good question. I do know that Berg’s suit has gone to the Supreme Court, and though they denied that the election be suspended, they didn’t dismiss it altogether either. According to SCOTUS: “The defendants (that would be Obama) are required to respond to the Writ of Certiorari by December first, after which Mr. Berg will have an opportunity to respond”.
So its still on the table. And I also know that 25 of the electors have also filed that Obama must prove citizenship. I might not be an attorney, but my guess is that an official elector definitely has standing and has the right to request proof of citizenship before voting.
So this citizenship thing is not over, by a longshot.

About two dozen electors so far filed lawsuits yesterday to force Senator Obama to present documents verifying the requirement as to having been “natural born”.
The rest of the year promises to be interesting.

there are like 8 lawsuits not being covered by the press going forward. the most publicized is P Berg’s. YES Obama has never shown a birth certificate. Yes, his relatives in Kenya claim he was born in Kenya.
Well.. you can kiss seeing the Birth Certificate good bye now. Maybe Congress will seal it up for the next 50 years. They run the country now.

Hey - a federal job is a federal job, from POTUS to custodian. The custodian has to prove he is eligible, POTUS should too.
Otherwise, we have a violation of the Equal Protection Clause ...
not only that..he’ll get a 4 year pass - he gets to blame the things he tries that don’t work, on Pres. Bush.
