Actually, this may sound a little far fetched, but it has occurred to me in the past (and now) that this whole election of Obama could in part, be some sort of social experiment/manipulation.
Electing an African American man as POTUS breaks the barrier - there are no excuses, there can be no complaints, there is a coordinated effort of everyone with no divisions. The only problem is, imho, it won’t work the way they want it to. Obama will be blamed just like every other POTUS. I guess ultimately, the emotion driving all of this is an illusion.

I couldn’t watch the speech.. As soon as California was called for the Oback, Fox and CNN went to the Chicago crowd.. the folks were crying and jumping up and down, it honestly it reminded me of the old footage of the Beatles concerts. Complete out of control mania from the crowd... in that condition, you could get that crowd to do anything.... anything....
