I read where Sarah Palin's dad said that Sarah would be field dressing a donkey tonight. So, I looked up donkey recipes and found this. Seems you can buy pre-stewed donkey in a can in Italy. I wish I had found this earlier for the party tonight!

Anyone tried stewed donkey before? Does it taste like chicken?

I've had burro, it isn't bad at all. Tastes like goat. In some parts of the world, donkey and burrow meat is pretty common.

Sorry, having been the proud husbander of three of these lovely creatures over the past 20 years, I cannot imagine stewing one of them. These animals are total love.

Donkeys are devoted to their people. Such loving creatures. Like huge Puppies. I cannot imagine stewing one of my pups either.
