The Power of P.U.M.A On Display at the Polls in Florida…
Pumao8 ^ | October 31, 2008 | PUMA Pundit

Posted on 10/31/2008 7:06:46 PM PDT by BIOCHEMKY

99% of Democrats support Obama right? Wrong. Take a look at this snippet coming out of Florida:

Democrats are beaming that their party is outperforming the Republicans in early voting, releasing numbers Wednesday that show registrants of their party ahead 54 percent to 30 percent among the 1.4 million voters who have gone to the polls early.

but guess what the same article goes on to state?

A Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll gave McCain a 49-45 lead over Democrat Barack Obama among Floridians who have already voted.

So Obama has a 6.4% advantage in turnout , yet is losing by 4%. Who could these democrats who are not voting for Obama possibly be?

Hmmm. Does the word “PUMA” ring a bell?e

If I say “PUMA” you say “Pounce”… PUMA… Pounce… PUMA… Pounce!

PUMAs are making a major difference in the polling on the face of it versus what is actually true! Yes!

This is the key fact that the media is missing completely. They still think that a Democratic vote means a vote for Obama. They are ignoring the millions of Democrats who will vote for McCain, like the PUMA's and Reagan Democrats.

This will prove to be decisive in FL, OH, and PA, all states which McCain will win. There is no way Obama can win if he loses those states, which he will.

America will not elect a Socialist on Nov. 4

I think we have a leap of faith with might turn out to be a misprint in the Bloomberg poll. How would anyone know how early voters in Florida actually voted? The only explanation would be based on exit polling and we need to see some internals to even consider results.

The “already voted” includes early voting AND absentee.

Early voting numbers probably do not include absentee.

Get the PUMAs! One final push!

The challenge:

Between NOW and election day, convince at least two Obama/Undecided voters to vote for McCain. Further, convince these two people (or two others) to take up the same challenge. (Like a chain letter)

So you have converted people in the past? Good, but we need more!

Many Obama supporters are mindlessly supporting him, with no real reason, this is VERY easy to get them to switch over. Even if you fail, other Obama/undecideds may be in the room and hear valid arguments.

Do your part! Start the conversion process!

It was the same in california, reported by AP. 210,000 votes and Obama ahead by 1,000. 107,000 Democrat and 103,000 republicans yet only a 1,000 lead for Obama hmmm.

I hope there are even more PUMA’s than we are anticipating now. The PUMA sites I have visited have been awesome. i did not pay much attention to the primaries on the Dem side until toward the end. I just assumed Hillary would be the nominee. Now I see what she was up against. Let’s all get out the vote for McCain/Palin.

If America had listened to the PUMA’s McCain would be running against Hillary.

On that note, all the pundits said Hillary would have a tough time winning because too many people didn’t like her and she would energize the conservative base. Looks like Obama REALLY energized the conservative base.

Good news. I gotta say, while no ordinary fan of the Clintons, I’d MUCH rather have seen a face-off between McCain and Hillary than what we’re looking at now. Reid-Pelosi-Obama could flat-out wreck this country and despite all our areas of disagreement, Hillary would never pose that kind of threat.

So PUMAs, I appreciate your support, and wish it would have been otherwise. We are all Americans and could come together in the middle, but Obama is so far left it’s scary for all of us.

They are the Hillary Clinton supporters that hate the Dems for what they did to her. They truely feel that the DNC pushed her out and crowned Barry.

They LOVE Sarah, HATE the way she has been treated and are HOT to get her elected.

They will then work to reform the DNC. They have taken abortion off the table and are very fiscal conservative although still socially liberal. The kind of Dems one can actually work with.

The PUMAs (Party Unity My A$$ or Hillary Supporters) are figuring out that their party is not what it used to be now that the liberals have taken it over—remember when there used to be some decent dems around that we could have an honest debate with? They have been replaced with left wing loons—let me name names: Dean, Pelosi, Reid, Franks, Dodd....

I was emailing with a Hispanic friend of mine and overall he does not feel there is that much enthusiasm for Obama. So maybe there will be a “Bradley” effect this election.

The couple that with the Puma's, operation CHAOS and the dimocRAT turnout overall may not be what the pollsters think it is.

OK, so I really slow on the uptake but this article reminded me that Florida was one of the states that the Obamanistas disqualified from the DNC primary tallies. Those voters would be more than normally angry with him and more likely to want him to lose.

Something is screwy in these numbers. Of the early voters, supposedly 54% are Dems, 30% are GOP. That’s 24 points advantage for the ‘Rats. Yet later on, “Obama has a 6.4% advantage in turnout.” Supposedly, that’s the advantage in Dems over GOP. Can someone please explain the difference to me. It can’t be 24% advantage and 6.4% advantage at the same time!!!

I can agree with that thought, McCain/Hillary would not be inducing the solid ball of metal to form in my stomach that the thought of a Obamao Presidency is.

His 2001 comments on the Constitution were simply...chilling..to me..say what can be said about Hillary, she was not the open enemy of our Constitution that Obamao is.

These are the very brief arguments I use, depending upon who I am talking to. The one I have had the most success with in the last 2 weeks is the Bush tax cut. If they are real stubborn play along and concede some minor things (”Yes, McCain is old”) then say “Well you have to admit you received a benefit from the Bush tax cut.” “Well, uh, yea...

and then you just have to reel ‘em in.

Here are the 4 major points I hit...

1. Taxes, Obama says you are going to get a tax cut, but did you know he is opposed to extended the Bush tax cut? That means your tax bracket will go back up, hurting everyone. Check for yourself to see what Obama says on extending the Bush tax cut....

2. Inexperience, if you feel Palin is inexperienced (here I usually throw them a bone and say she is inexperienced when compared to McCain, but at least she has executive experiece, Obama has never run a business, or had experience on foreign policy issues.

3. Change, while a lot of people will feel the government needs to be changed, voting for Obama is like an onside kick to start off the Super Bowl, sure it could work, but chances are it will be messed up and a lot will go wrong. McCain knows how to get change within the system.
&
4. Character, Obama may not be a terrorist (again conceding sone info to get them to see you are being reasonable), but you have to agree, he does associate himself with very questionable characters. It’s not just one instance, but a pattern. His associations in their own right this shows a complete lack of judgment.

I was always very wary of chaos. I had problems from both an ethical and practical standpoint. I always feared an Obama nomination. Now, we have it and it sucks big time.
Give me two real Americans running for president. I could sleep better.
I hope when all is done that the acrimony between us and HRC supporters is seen in a different light.
IOW, I am a conservative, but in voting for Rino McCain, I too am a Puma, putting country over party. The Pumas are patriots like us. They are also smart, articulate, and as far as I know, clean.
We just disagree on some stuff. We agree that America should not have a president who hates our country.

Ahhh - gotcha.

Questions....

If they have taken abortion off the table, in what regard are they still strongly socially liberal?

Dems one can work with, such as Pat Caddell, who looked so sickened the other night when Hannity spoke of Ayers’ support of Sirhan Sirhan? What other Dems, pray tell, are there like that?

They really love Sarah Palin? That seems like a stretch to me, but I’m open minded.

Thanks for enlightening me!

In Texas, the DNC cheated with their Texas two Step. It was so totally rigged. Hillary won TX, but the Caucuses were a sham, and were taken over by Obama supporters.
