The ONLY way McCain loses is if you Eeyores allow the media to keep you from the polls.

LOL! Ani't THAT the truth!

I love the comments about the student vote, too! Every time, the Dems think the young folks just LOVE them and will vote in record numbers. I haven't seen it yet, and I don't think we'll see it this year. Most students vote by absentee ballot, and unless they made the effort to get one, they won't get to vote. I made sure that both our college students were contacted by the Registrar of Voters in our town, and both already received their ballots. I'll make sure they get those in the mail. That will be 2 sure McCain votes!

Who knew...0bama is a uniter after all. PUMAs, FReepers, Conservatives, Reagan Democrats, Clinton Democrats...all on the same page.

*snort* Not exactly the unity HE wanted, that's for sure!

I only recently saw McCain's last stint on SNL, from several years ago. It was HILARIOUS, because he was dissing Barbra Streisand, by singing some of her songs.

...conservatives will crawl across broken glass to vote.
They are terrified and the media did this.

Even modestly liberal persons of moneyed means are also afraid.
I've been suprised how often some of the hosts/guests will mention
the specter of Obama being (one of the) factors provoking investors
selling out of stocks.

And many not getting back in even at the relatively decent valuations.

They just don't trust Obama to not significantly raise capital
tax rates.
