Palin's choice, to spurn an abortion to give birth to a Down syndrome child, makes the moral clarity of her decision unassailable.

It's this issue that separates the sheep from the goats.

It is envy.

Not just about the looks, but by the fact that Sarah has managed to pull it off so well.

She landed a really HOT macho guy, who isn’t a jerk.
The man isn’t just macho - but he cooks! And he raises his kids too! He changes diapers and takes his kids to the park.

Meanwhile, Sarah manages to conquer.

She governs Alaska throughout her pregnancy.
After giving birth she looks like she never was pregnant.

She fired her cook!
She is picked to be VP!
She is traveling the nation and attracting thousands!!

It “appears” that has come “easy” to her.

But that is the beauty of Sarah. Truly talented people can make something look easy, when everyone knows it is not.

So - you get these feminists who chose career over family.
Or you even get women who chose family over career.

And they see this woman who managed to pull off both.

I think many women look at their own lives and feel insecure about choices they’ve made, and they project that onto Sarah.

Let’s face it ladies - Sarah is unique.
Most of us cannot pull it off like she does.

But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t admire her.

“Sarah Palin, if she is not the vice president, is likely to move quickly beyond defeat to other chances to demonstrate that she’s the real thing, leaving her bitter critics to stew in the juice of their own frustrations. Yogi might say that when she came to a fork in the road, she took it.”

Maybe the feminists think she stole their revolution; she has done what they couldn't do. She's a self-made woman, with a family of five, who took on the old boys in Alaska and beat them at their sordid game while holding onto her femininity.

No maybe about it, but at the base of all their hysteria is the issue of abortion, which they consider their most cherished right. She threatens that, and they will never forgive her for it.
