I put up two signs last night, around 11:30 on a main road here in Liberal REston, VA. they were gone this morning. I am thinking of spraying them with PAM, and filling the inside of the sign with dog waste, which I have plenty. 80lb Labs leave big piles.

And then the scum had the audacity to come scream at the daughter of the person whose sign he was trying to get his son to steal. The audacity of dope.

A fine example of why our society is crumbling - parents with a completely upside-down view of right and wrong.

My father would have punished me for messing with the guy's sign (this kid's dad probably put him up to it.) Then he would've made me apologize to the property owner. FWIW my two little opii will be raised the same way.

It never occurred to me to steal signs

And if your son got stung while trying to do such a thing you'd probably scold and ground him rather than go yell at the neighbor he was trying to steal from. Low-lifes raise low-lifes, unfortunately. I just hope the kid turns his life around one day after he escapes the clutches of his idiotic parents, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I’m not clear on whether this was the home owner’s property or not. The article says that the HOA maintains it...

If the parents don’t monitor their child’s actions, does the liberal’s nanny? Why was the nine year old out at night alone? These are the children left to run without guidance that grow up to be the destructive punks we see in Chapel Hill.

A few minutes later, the boy's father, Andrew Noble, was at Turschak's door, demanding an explanation from Turschak's 13-year-old daughter....

"Junior, it's time to teach you the facts of life. Not sex, we already taught you that anything goes, and morality has nothing to do with sex. What matters is politics. We're democrats, so I want you to go next door and steal their campaign sign. That's what we believe in. Free speech for us, but suppress speech for the other side. There's nothing wrong with stealing if you do it for a good cause."

If my kids took an Obama sign, I would be more disappointed than I can express - but I'd still manage to find effective words. They would apologize, pay for the sign, and find a way to make up for infringing on the commie's right to express his views during the interim when the sign was missing.

On the other hand, if Thug-Junior's dad yelled at my daughter, well, I don't think that little incident and my response would ever be patched over. Decent adults don't yell at other people's children because of what another person did (even ignoring the fact that his child was a thief and completely at fault) - ever.

You are right, my boys would have been punished forced to apologize to the home owner and I would not have lied to cover up for them....

I did not find this out till well after the fact but my son and his friends did the same thing only the police caught them. The police made them apologize put the signs back and the boys never bothered them again.

Ain’t that the truth? I’ve gotten bigger shocks shuffling across the carpet and touching the cat’s nose. The cat seems to have a bigger reaction than me, though.
