I cannot help but think that this is really going to hurt obama. Talk about a turn off, having some political jackass getting in my face for 30 minutes, after a long day at work.
Honestly, if McCain tried this, I would think a lot less of him. A LOT Less. I am thinking there are going to be a lot of undecideds as well as dems themselves look very poorly on this.
This is not socialism, it is Communism.
My take is that it will cause no movement in the polls whatsoever. Zippo. Unless some of his contributors are angry at seeing their money wasted.

It might depend on what Americans really think about Barry’s hubris. Most of the folks I know don’t like arrogant pride, but I live in a red part of the state.

We’re a little peeved that he’s cutting into the World Series — as are a number of people.
Folks are just plain ready to get this election over. Obama has been pummeling people with his ads — most are tired of them unless they’ve drunk the koolaid.
It will actually interrupt the world series game here in the Denver market. It’s scheduled to be on at 7 pm MST, the game starts/resumes at 8:37 EST or 6:37pm MST.

It sounds like it’s going to be an exercise in narcissism. He’s going to have Bill Clinton do a walk-on, is that right? Remember Bill Clinton’s walk on at the 2000 convention. It took about 15 minutes for Bill to walk a long hallway into the convention hall.
I hope the RNC slams him with the Khalidi tape within minutes and then follow up with a tape of Michelle and Barack blaming Bill Clinton for the plight of Africa—blamin’ the white devil.
