PHILADELPHIA — A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit challenging Barack Obama's qualifications to be president.
U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick on Friday night rejected the suit by attorney Philip J. Berg, who alleged that Obama was not a U.S. citizen and therefore ineligible for the presidency. Berg claimed that Obama is either a citizen of his father's native Kenya or became a citizen of Indonesia after he moved there as a boy.
Obama was born in Hawaii to an American mother and a Kenyan father. His parents divorced, and his mother married an Indonesian man.
Internet-fueled conspiracy theories question whether Obama is a "natural-born citizen" as required by the Constitution for a presidential candidate and whether he lost his citizenship while living abroad.
Surrick ruled that Berg lacked standing to bring the case, saying any harm from an allegedly ineligible candidate was "too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters."

Do any of them find it bizarre that this close to the election, Obama wouldn’t put this thing to rest simply by showing the certificate?

Now it’s being reported that there are NINE lawsuits in all and Berg is appealing to the Supreme Court.
Obama's citizenship is a separate question, which comes into play, because he was adopted by his step-Father Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian national. Little Barry was registered for school in Indonesia as an Indonesian national and as a Muslim.

I guess that having a POTUS who could possibly be a foreign national is no longer relevant to the American people and certainly not to the democrats. The idea that we may share our nuclear arsenal and secrets with our enemies does not seem to bother many.
So, the Court ruled that YOU and I have no interest in having the Constitution enforced. That we would suffer no legal "injury in fact" should it be violated.
Well a bunch of us, and the judge for that matter, took oaths to the contrary. We pledged to "support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic". The oath itself, although not it's exact form, is required by the Constitution. Unlike the judge, some of us take that oath seriously, and figure that it was more than "mere words, mere empty speech". We also figure that if nonone else will "support and defend", we will have to do it ourselves.
On this issue the need to do so is not yet proven, but Obama and the DNC seem to be going way out of their way not to show us that the Constitution is *not* being violated, as easy as that would be.
The poses, the facial expressions, the essence of the god-like image that is intended, create chilling similarities as does the use of disinformation, thugs for Obama, demagoguery, and symbology. Leftism may be deranged, but they also leave a garish fingerprint.

As I expected, these suits are going to be dismissed because judges will claim that Berg has no standing, but no one will say who could have standing to demand that Obama must prove his citizenship. Maybe one of the electors chosen November 4 will have standing.
I am surprised at the judge’s ruling. It looks like he is ignoring the Constitution.
So if Obie is elected, and then at some point it turns out he is not a natural born US citizen, thus not being eligible per the US Constitution, what happens at that point? Does Plugs become Pres? Or like everything else involving Obie, is it just “overlooked”.
At least it is now in the msm.
I know that some Constitutional scholars are wary of Judicial intervention in elections. They expect the voters to inform each other if someone is not properly vetted.

You are correct, Obama and Hitler have little in commmon. The commie dictators group including Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Saddam, Hillary and even Mrs. Snodgrass (5th Grade) share more common traits with Obama. Traits such as precipitating the collapse of moral, financial, educational, judicial and civil liberty resulting in millions of deaths and decades of misery to name just one.
It does a great disservice to the ranks of WW1 Iron Cross winners to compare or associate cowards like Obama to them. On the other hand if the previous poster was speaking of the commie dictators in the “kill all the subhumans amongst us” group, then he or she does have a point.

How can a judge toss out the suit so quickly? Did Obama produce a Birth certificate proving he is a natural born citizen of these untied states? If so, I want to see it posted. If he doesn’t show proof to the citizens of this country, then oust him.

When all else fails and you want to fix something, then return to the original plans, the Constitution for the United States.
Constantly tinkering with a broken machine may work for awhile, but eventually that machine will brake down and leave you stranded.
Why be stranded? Stop tinkering. Time to get out the original plans and fix the damn thing once and for all! Vote for Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party.
