Sarah Palin raised the roof last night on her "Saturday Night Live" debut, yukking it up with Alec Baldwin and executive producer Lorne Michaels as she watched dead-ringer Tina Fey lampoon her at a fake news conference.

Palin returned to the stage for the Weekend Update segment, bopping to a rap by Amy Poehler while Eskimos, a moose, and a snowsuit-clad man danced in the background.

Ain’t gonna happen. That’s the chosen tactic of the Left (and their sidekicks in the MSM. If McCain/Palin are elected, they’ll redouble their efforts to make Americans think Sarah has the IQ of a yam.

Y'know what I noticed? How insubstantial Fey looked when she crossed paths with the REAL Sarah. Sarah had more stage presence than Tina.

Her acting was far superior to everyone else. Alec Baldwin couldn’t string three words together without glancing at a cue card.

This stunt was nothing but a way to generate revenue and ratings on an otherwise bankrupt and sinking show. They should have cancelled SNL years ago. It has become another tool for the socialists to spread their doom and gloom.
My absolutely FAVorite line of the night - “Your brother Stephen is my favorite Baldwin.”

I laughed out loud at this; most people like somewhat-self-depricating humor, and this was just dead-pan. She could be an actress easily. And Amy Poehler did a great job! Thought it was hilarious and showed a great sense of humor.

I agree, Gov. Palin is a beauty. Tina Fey, not so much. I think Ms. Fey’s politics makes her truly unattractive.

Aside from their appearances, I like the "I'm no angel" skit" OMG and Adele was pretty good until after she stopped singing. What's with the 12yr old giggle thing?
They can try, but they're not succeeding now, are they? If your average Hollywood star got put through what they've done to Sarah these past weeks, we'd be dragging them out of the drunk tank (or the river) by now.
The more they go after her, the more the Lord protects her. Like a lotus, she just rises up out of the muck and they're still scratching their heads trying to figure it out. They are that out of touch.

Actually, it was a GREAT opportunity for semi-brainwahsed folks who would probably NEVER have the opportunity to get to see her otherwise, and it just might change a few minds.
Like Glenn Beck on CNN. The lefties HAAAAAAAATE the fact that he’s on “their” network, and folks that wouldn’t ordinarily get any exposure to conservative viewpoints now do.
You go where the enemy is and you attack/neutralize him there.
I think she did fine. At best, she picked up some votes for the good guys; at worst, she lost nothing for our side, because those folks weren’t voting for her anyway.
Accept that fact that they’ll ridicule her no matter where she goes or what she does. It’s their nature to be assh*les - that’s why they’re liberals.
She’s a big girl; she can take the heat. She’s tougher than most of what passes for MEN in Washington DC, and I for one can’t WAIT to see her get to DC and start kicking some ass.

I think it’s always been true that a few hold the many steady; one man breaking the line can cause a complete panic; while one man picking up the flag and pushing forward has stopped a rout completely in its tracks and turned the day on the bloody hilltop.
That’s OUR job; never mind the naysayers. Stay the course, stay tough, and FIGHT IT OUT.
I think it’s true that if put them next to each other Sarah is much better looking, and has more star quality.

Tina Fey, while being a pretty woman, can’t hold a candle to Sarah, in any department, brains, guts or beauty. I have already said that I’ll bet Tina cried herself to sleep after seeing Sarah up close. Go Sarah Go!
