The world wants change
The Guardian ^ | October 17, 2008 | Iam Williams

So, after eight years of Blair and Brown toadying up to Bush, 65% of Brits want Barack Obama to win the presidential election, according to the Guardian's international poll published today, and only 15% are rooting for the McCain/Palin ticket – and one suspects that some of those would be voting for the racist BNP given half a chance, not least when the numbers indicate that Obama is only supported by the 54% of the lowest socio-economic class, whose neglect by New Labour has left many of them clutching at racist straws. In every country, opinions of the US have declined to record levels over George Bush's two terms as president. One can understand why 75% of the French would think so, but what do you make of the Swiss, 86% of whom think so, even though not even the Republicans boycotted Helvetian cheese or cuckoo clocks? The world is showing what it thinks of Sarah Palin and the Bushite know-nothings who have usurped McCain's campaign. So should Americans care? Of course, they should, but more pertinent is whether it could be a factor in the election...

Purely for motivational purposes. Once you wade through this pitiful, offensive garbage, you may feel like doing even more to make sure that John McCain is the next president.

Raila Odinga's official website:

MUST SEE VIDEO OF OBAMA IN KENYA CAMPAIGNING FOR MARXIST THUG/"COUSIN" RAILA ODINGA!
8 minute version:
"Barack Obama & Raila Odinga"

Obama on video campaigning for Marxist “cousin” Raila Odinga, Kenya’s “Agent of Change”:
"When Raila Odinga lost the presidential election last week (12/27/2007) to Mwai Kibaki, he claimed the vote was rigged, whereupon his tribal followers went on murderous rampages such as in the town of Eldoret, where on New Years Day dozens of people were burned to death in a church set on fire. Throughout Kenya, hundreds of people have been politically murdered in the last few days."

"Listen as the Luo calls itself the "Taliban" in the video. It's graphic, it's gruesome but it is who Obama supported. Watch the whole thing, particularly the Luos burning a church, raping women, and hacking a man to death."

Louis Farrakhan, at the annual Saviours' Day celebration in Chicago, Feb. 25, 2008: "This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better"..."If you look at Barack Obama's audiences and look at the effect of his words, those people are being transformed."

Must see video of Farrakhan's Obama endorsement at the above 'annual Saviours' Day celebration in Chicago, Feb. 25, 2008'. Hear him call Obama "The Messiah"! And speak of "universal change":

The best example here. Folks wanted New Coke....and they got it. Then they realized that old Coke was better. New Coke? Kinda gone and forgotten. Note this though...Pepsi never even discussed a concept of New Pepsi...they weren’t ever going to change.

If the world wants change, it can start by nuking tehran, and probably most of pakistan and afghanistan. that is change that everyone would like to see.

So this hemisphere doesn’t feel left out, we can then take out Castro, Chavez and any other dirtball who abuses his own people.

And Africa, well, there’s a project that requires more space than I am alloted.

The world need to clean up its own house first.

“Tonight is a great victory for the American people,” Pelosi said in a late-night speech in Washington. “Today the American people voted for change, and they voted for Democrats to take our country in a new direction.”

“The American people voted to restore integrity and honesty in Washington, D.C., and the Democrats intend to lead the most honest, most open and most ethical Congress in history”

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/11/07/AR2006110700473.html

George Bush has beenin office for 7 1/2 years. The first six the economy was fine.

A little overone year ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;

2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;

3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.

4) the DOWJONES hit a record high-14,000

5) American’s were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations overseas, living large!...

But American’s wanted ‘CHANGE’!

So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress and yes—we got ‘CHANGE’ allright.

In the PAST YEAR:

1) Consumer confidence has plummeted ;

2) Gasoline is now over $3 a gallon

3)Unemployment is up to 5.5% (a 10% increase);

4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS and prices still dropping;

5) 1% ofAmerican homes are in foreclosure.

6) THE DOW is probing another low~~ $2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM STOCKS,BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS!

YES, IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE...AND WE SURE GOT IT! ....

REMEMBER THE PRESIDENT HAS NO CONTROL OVER ANY OF THESE ISSUES, ONLY CONGRESS.

AND WHAT HAS CONGRESS DONE IN THE LAST TWO YEARS, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. (actually, they did something...none of it good)

NOW THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT CLAIMS HE IS GOING TO REALLY GIVE US CHANGE ALONG WITH A DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS!!!!

JUST HOW MUCH MORE ‘CHANGE’ DO YOU THINK YOU CAN STAND?

So should Americans care? Of course, they should

Why? Is there any sense behind the logic that you should do something simply because someone else wants you to? No one would accept such a non-justification for action in their personal lives, and there's no reason to extend it to governments either.

This just in:
Sox right fielder JD Drew is favored as ALCS Game 6 opening pitcher by nearly 85% of Ray fans! Fans say this "change" would make them like the Sox more. They believe Drew's lack of experience as a pitcher gives all fans reason for "hope".
