Anti-Obama group raises pastor in ads

A group targeting Barak Obama's campaign have launched a series of television ads in many key markets. The title of the ads are "Obama's Wrong Values"; "Obama's Awful High Tax Policies"; "Hillary Clinton Rips Barack Obama" and "Obama's Patriotism Problem." These ads are paid for by a group called Our Country Deserves Better PAC, a Sacramento, Calif.-based group formed to campaign against Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. PAC claims ads are airing in Nevada, Colorado and Michigan, with a total ad buy of more than $100,000.

The ads are the work of an independent group and are not produced by Republican candidate John McCain's campaign. The exact size of the ad buy is uncertain because it has not yet been reported to federal election officials.

This is the latest email from Our Country Deserves Better, which indicates the Obama thugs are out to silence all of us:

Groups like this are like cavarly engaging in flanking maneuvers. McCain and the RNC need to be engaged in direct frontal assault.

This smells like the initiation of deployment of the rumored $200 million in Rove-controlled PAC money. We'll see how things look on Monday.

Hello everyone - we just had a very nice rally in Flagstaff as part of Our Country Deserves Better committee's, "Stop Obama Tour."

We definitely noticed a further bump in contributions - thank you FReepers.

We've been adding to our media buys in Nevada and now Michigan (plus our buy going on in Colorado). Not sure if you guys and gals saw the news or not, but Obama is now following McCain and pulling $$$$ and staff out of Michigan.

I wonder if their strategy to dump a bunch of their money into the race to "put it away" might have been too aggressive and whether they might not be so dominant on the airwaves over the final days of the campaign. I sure hope so.

All of us at the Our Country Deserves Better Committee, like so many of you here at Free Republic and other groups, are working very hard to rally the base, swing undecideds and crossover voters into the McCain/Palin camp and WIN THIS ELECTION!

I think you are spot on. The only thing is I truly believe it will be a landslide for McCain and Obama and his followers will be rejected by the American people. I think their will be dire consequences for the MSM. I believe there will be a lot of people start to have organized boycotts of all of these MSM stations after the election.

LANSING (AP) — Democrat Barack Obama is moving some staffers to other states as his lead in Michigan polls grows. But state Democrats still have their largest ever presidential campaign effort under way, and Republicans haven’t thrown in the towel even though Republican John McCain pulled his staff out of Michigan two weeks ago.

This is a great opportunity for us, which is why Our Country Deserves Better PAC is heading to Michigan on the bus now and has Michigan specific ads running.
