Barack Obama attended Occidental College from fall 1979 through spring 1981 and then transferred to Columbia University in New York. He is not a graduate of Occidental, however, the Occidental College bylaws state that anyone who completes at least eight courses of undergraduate work (or a year of graduate studies) is eligible for alumni status. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations protect the privacy of student education records. We, therefore, cannot disclose students’ classes, grade point averages, majors or other such information.
Neither Obama’s image nor name appear in any Occidental yearbooks or weekly student newspaper for the years he attended. The picture featured on this page is the only one we have of the senator; it was sent in with his Occidental application. It is available upon request. Obama did contribute to the now-defunct student literary magazine, Feast . Transcripts of his poems are available upon request. On the heels of his 2004 speech at that summer’s democratic national convention, Obama made the cover story of the fall edition of Occidental Magazine.
Obama did not play basketball on any official team at Occidental, as has been reported. There is a spoof video on You Tube that portrays Obama as the 1974 Occidental Freshman Class President. Clearly this video is a satire, not a documentary.
We have a strict privacy policy regarding alumni information. We do not give out alumni information but we can, on behalf of media outlets, contact alumni with specific requests.

Isn’t Algore tied to Occidental?
Is there any proof that he traveled overseas on an Indonesian passport under the name Barry Soetoro in 1981? When was the passport issued, and why would Indonesia issue a passport to a US citizen? Was he registered at Oxy as Obama or Soetoro? Was he registered at Columbia as Obama or Soetoro?
Petroleum, not university.
VVVEEEEERRRRRRYYYYY INTEREEESSSTTIINNGGGG!!!!
and No Basketball! GEE! Another line of Bullsh&t discovered in that he is not mentioned in ANY ACTIVITIES!! The GHOST HAUNTED OCCIDENTAL !!!
He could not travel to Pakistan in 1981 under a US passport. Another problem — non-Muslims were not welcome! What does that tell you? Read more at the link below!
In the early 1980s, Pakistan was one of the destinations Americans were prohibited from visiting - it was on the State Departments list of banned countries. Non-Muslims were not welcome, unless they were on official business, formalized through the embassy of the country of origin. The simple truth is that no young American would have a reason to or be able to visit Pakistan in 1981, unless he was on official government business of which the State Department was aware. Assuming the young Barack Obama was not on government business, he had no business in Pakistan.

Kurt Russell?
That cartoon of Michelle O is AMAZING, down to the way she hunches down so that she can glare up at you from under her eyebrows...
Fantastic! ROTFLMAO!
But how TRUE!
Who is the mystery person in South America mentioned at the link? That is an interesting story. This is like living a movie and I’m just waiting to see how it ends...
"Just prior to the release of the most conservative colleges, Young America's Foundation listed "The Dirty Dozen" - the most bizarre, politically correct college courses in the nation, or what the Foundation called "troubling instances of leftist activism."
Based on research on scores of courses from hundreds of the nation's leading schools, "The Dirty Dozen" are:
1. Occidental College - The Phallus
2. University of California-Los Angeles - Queer Musicology
3. Amherst College in Massachusetts - Taking Marx Seriously: Should Marx be given another chance?
4. University of Pennsylvania - Adultery Novel
5. Occidental College - Blackness
6. University of Washington - Border Crossings, Borderlands: Transnational Feminist Perspectives on Immigration
7. Mount Holyoke College - Whiteness: The Other Side of Racism
8. University of Michigan - Native American Feminisms
9. Johns Hopkins University - Mail Order Brides: Understanding the Philippines in Southeast Asian Context
10. Cornell University - Cyberfeminism
11. Duke University - American Dreams/American Realities
12. Swarthmore College - Nonviolent Responses to Terrorism
I was looking for confirmation about traveling to Pakistan in 1981 before I posted it and found this article.
I have no idea who the mystery person is in South America. All I know about S. America is that Ayers is good friends and advisor to Chavez.
Obama is mentored by a Communist, hangs out with domestic terrorists, goes to church with a black radical minister, quotes in Philly speeches from the black radicals to the 60’s/70’s — Malcolm X, Eldridge Cleaver, Stockly Carmichael, etc. and people are voting for him. Not to mention he is only 6.25% black which doesn’t qualify in the US as a black minority.
It is like a horror movie!
So did he really take part in the college, or was he just...
The Occidental Tourist?
Who or what is this guy? I am just stunned by the total lack of information or background on him. People worry that Obama wasn’t born in this country - he barely sounds as though he even lived in it.
No kidding. And yet there are so many more people one could add to that “family.”
The more I read the more I am convinced this was planned for years by the 60’s radicals to takeover the Government. This is just astounding that it is all ignored. Were they planning to challenge the Constitution if he was elected? We don’t even know if he is a US citizen today. No paperwork has been provided and all records are sealed.
