Just posing the question in good faith here ~ not looking to be bodyslammed ~ because this is very radical legislation; but could all Democrats really be counted on to vote for this???

Of course, I realize that there will be arm twisting and all that, but could not Casey, Pryor or Landrieu be counted on to go wobbly on such insane legislation!

I know the libs and NARALers would absolutely go nuts, but at some point wouldn’t they have to draw a line??

What do you think?

Casey has already proved himself to be the Ball-less Wonder on key abortion votes (as one might have predicted from his campaign against Santorum). He has no will of his own. But I think there are others who would find a way not to support it.

I suspect early on that all the Dems will march in lockstep, even the ones from states that go for McCain. But I have to wonder a year from now when 0bama’s ratings are lower than Bush’s, will some red state Democrats, fearful about 2010, then be emboldened to oppose their great messiah? It could happen.
