WTH is going on in China??? My dad just sent me an email warning about hair bands made in China - apparently they are brightly colored thread wrapped around used condoms!

Has the hairband email been checked on Snopes? I know that when my hairbands break, the inside is always a rubber band, with a kind of squarish cross-section. No condoms there.
