The Ayers agenda (THIS IS WHAT NEEDS TO GET OUT! IT'S FOR THE CHILDREN)
Boston Herald ^

Posted on 10/13/2008 6:16:31 PM PDT by GOPbabe

WE NEED TO GET THIS OUT TO PARENTS & GRANDPARENTS. (SEE FIRST POST)

Barack Obama has tried to make voters think he barely know Bill Ayers, a confessed and unrepentant terrorist of the 1970s. It’s important to be clear on why the connection matters beyond Obama’s judgment in choice of associates.

Ayers and Obama collaborated in something called the Annenberg Challenge after a $50 million donation from the Annenberg Foundation (along with many millions from other donors) intended to improve Chicago’s schools. Ayers founded the Chicago Annenberg Challenge; Obama served as board chairman for four years after 1995 and a board member for two years after that. Ayers was co-chairman of the Chicago School Reform Collaborative, which cooperated in drafting Challenge policy for the first year and served as an adviser for the remaining years of the project. (Post-project evaluation found no evidence that schools had been improved.)

In effect, Obama’s organization carried out the funding policies set in collaboration with the Ayers group.

But what was Ayers up to?

McCain’s campaign has sent an incoherent message about 0bama.
It has failed to define him.
What good is talking about William Ayers or ACORN if the campaign doesn’t use these associations to draw a conclusion about 0bama?

McCain needs to use not one, but rather the aggregate of 0bama’s influences in life to bring him into focus. Frank Marshall Davis, Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, Saul Alinsky, ACORN, The Democratic Socialists of America, The New Party. What do they all have in common?

The answer: a dangerous, radical, far left ideology.

McCain must make this about ideology, and take 0bama’s associations as instructive. He should highlight that Saul Alinsky taught radicals to cut their hair, put on a suit, and take down the government from the inside, and 0bama was so versed in Alinsky’s tactics that he taught them to ACORN activists.

McCain’s ACORN ad reveals that 0bama taught for ACORN, but it never reveals the substance of what he taught.
The substance is what we need to understand 0bama. The substance is what makes it tangible.

McCain needs to call 0bama a wolf in sheep’s clothing. A clean-cut radical with very little papertrail infiltrating the system in order to destroy it.
Exposing 0bama’s radical agenda and properly identifying it as Socialism would be enough to ensure his defeat. It is what McCain must do.

Øbama’s relatioship with Bernadine Dohrn, Ayers wife, needs more vetting too

Bernadine Dohrn “served on panels with Obama” referenced, thought the rest of the article has info;

Senator helped fund organization that rejects ‘racist’ Israel’s existence

http://www.chicagotribune.com/topic/sfl-barackbash1,0,4014780.story?page=2

Ayers is married to another notorious Weathermen terrorist,

Bernadine Dohrn, who has also served on panels with Obama. Dohrn was once on the FBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted List and was

described by J. Edgar Hoover as the “most dangerous woman in America.”

Ayer’s wife, Bernadine Dohrn = Domestic Bin Laden

Ayer’s wife, Bernadine Dohrn = Domestic Bin Laden

From;

http://www.sodahead.com/question/155269/

Bernadine Dohrn made numerous contacts with Fidel Castro’s Cuban Mission at the UN in 1968 and 1969, during which time she arranged for SDS groups to visit Havana.

After returning from Cuba, Dohrn and others met with North Vietnamese and Viet Cong representatives in Budapest, Hungary, to discuss antiwar strategy on US campuses. Speaking a few days later at an assembly of revolutionary student movements at Columbia University, Dohrn reported that the Vietnamese communists she met in Budapest were working with US GIs in Saigon, attempting to obtain military information.

As a gesture of solidarity, the Vietnamese who Dohrn met in Budapest presented her with a ring made from an American aircraft shot down over North Vietnam. Bill Ayers would receive a similar ring while meeting with Vietnamese communists in Toronto. He later recalled being so moved by the gesture that he “left the room to cry.” He said, “I realized...America was an evil... and that I was... living inside the belly of the beast....”

In January 1969, at the request of the Cubans and the Vietnamese, Dohrn assembled another SDS delegation to travel to Havana to plan what the Chicago Sun-Times called an “antiwar campaign during an eight-day seminar with representatives of Hanoi and the Viet Cong.”

Dohrn became a key planner in the founding of the Venceremos Brigades. Ostensibly a “solidarity” program for US leftists to visit and support Castro’s Cuba, the group was actually organized by Cuban intelligence as a covert attack on US security.

Cuban secret police offered the “brigadistas” money, advice and logistical support. Some Americans were also given guerrilla warfare training and instructed in the use of weapons and explosives.

While they were in Cuba, Huynh Van Ba, a representative of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of South Vietnam (Viet Cong) advised his American allies to “look for the person who fights hardest against the cops.” Dohrn stayed in telephone contact with Ba after returning home.

I don’t see how this can’t break in the MSM. Until it does, we need to get this out to everyone we know. Include the military outfitted young teens singing to Obama and the Sing for Change links in your emails. It will be the visual imagery that will bring it all together.

Google “School for Social Justice” and then Google it again with Ayers name.

This could be an October surprise. I know if you mention Hugo Chavez, education, and Obama, it raises eyebrows!

That would all be fine and dandy if they were speaking to a politically educated electorate. But they are not. And that’s where your suggestions do not fit the bill. Explaining ACORN to the average voter would be like trying to explain patriotism to a Democrat. It’s a waste of time and money.

Sounds like the agenda of the Annenberg Challenge was to turn grade-schools into the PC re-education centers that Universities have become. I imagine kids being encouraged to ferret out the capitalist sub-texts of “Encyclopedia Brown” or “Dr. Seuss” and describe how their normative dialectics impede the progress and hope of the people... or some such thing.

Bill Ayers’ curriculum vitae (CV) is available online for you to see JUST HOW RADICAL his education ideology really is at http”//www.billayers.org.

Believe me....Bill Ayers educational views ARE radical.

In Chicago, for at least the past 30 years Bill Ayers has been influencing what early childhood TEACHERS are taught in their own curriculum while still earning their education degrees AND what the curriculum should be like that the same teachers teach their young pupils in a very radically leftist way!

I sent a copy of Bill Ayers’ CV and Bernardine Dohrn’s CV
to the McCain-Palin Campaign and FOXNews a week ago.

Let’s hope they at least read through them....

I located it just to verify that it indeed did have that dedication.

It actually is dedicated to someone named Irene. On the following page there are several quotes. The middle quote is the homage from the author.

Now here is my deal. I want to read it, especially the chapter on organizing. Look where ignoring this has gotten us?????? If you don’t read it, the radicals will.

What I don’t want to do is pay $$$$ to purchase it. Where would that go since the author is deceased?

If an author is deceased, and the book is still being actively published, the royalties would likely go to the author’s heirs. If the book is “out of print” (no longer being actively published), you can only get it second-hand from someone who wants to sell their copy. Try looking for a used copy on Amazon.com.

It’s BECAUSE of Ayers and his 30-year plus history as an early childhood education expert in classroom curriculum, teacher training, and textbook content that “leftists have had control of government schools for the last 30 years”.
Ayers and Dohrn have both been “underground” in plain sight-—in the field of early childhood education and social justice for children and youth.

LOL I laugh but it is so tragically true...what you wrote about trying to explain patriotism to a Democrat...sadly, you’re mostly right about trying to inform most voters on grave issues as well.

But hey—Swift Boat Veterans for Truth was a VERY effective campaign element in 2004, even if independent of the official campaign. With the right message-crafting and imagery and blitzkrieg, it works, even if it’s lost on most.

McCain needs a specific plan, not generalities about socialism or history lessons. Socialism is just a word that can be thrown back at him. Obama can say McCain doesn’t want to help ordinary Americans while Obama proposes a small amount of watered down socialism. But Obama combines that with some excellent lip service about small business (no specifics of course). He sounds much better to a lot of people and McCain needs to step up to the plate (he did a little just this morning).

The crisis was caused by about two decades of loose credit. The securities industry made it inevitable with their house of cards. The democrats went along for the ride, putting a lot of deadbeats into houses they couldn't afford. But many more (by numbers and especially dollars) people overextended without ACORN's help.

Secondly, you missed my point which was that it doesn't matter how the crisis was caused. People want to hear about solutions, not assigning blame.

“There’s another reason for working inside the system. Dostoevsky said that taking a new step is what people fear most. Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution.” Saul Alinsky

I wish I knew; I wish that I had inside knowledge that McCain learned the acme of psy-ops from being a POW, and has been using his artful skills to set Hussein up for a big takedown.

But maybe he’s just, as you say shot himself in the foot.

Anyway what most of the pundits and informed public and pols have learned is that McCain has some unknown number of lives—7, 8, 9, who knows—and that one is wise never to count him out. That’s my attitude, that’s what intrigues me about the man, and that’s why I think he may be playing possum to an extent—the public loves a great comeback from underdog status, and perhaps McCain just really knows how to give that to us.
