you know I live in upstate ny and I am ashamed to watch this Thats why Upstate NYers don’t like the down staters. There has been several attempts over the years to seperate from down state but with no luck.

Pretty much the same people we just handed $700 billion to, and likely some of the same people for whom this country has committed much blood (mostly from those evil red states) and treasure as a result of the destruction visited on their very doorstep.
Last election I held a sign for W on a street corner I’ll never forget all the lefty love I received that day.Kinda gives me a warm&fuzzy thinking about it.
If McCain was to win then you will see sporadic attacks on cars with McCain stickers, any Republican institutional gatherings etc. It is in that environment going into the mid-term elections that we should all march quietly and peacefully and, sure as can be, some of us will be attacked. What is important is to have video of such attacks made by us. We need to have cameras in the midst of the march that have remote recording (transmitter on camera, receiver on another marcher, a fellow traveler following from the safety of the sideline or in nearby car, etc.) so in the event a camera is damaged or stolen we will have the evidence.
Imagine a psycho lib stealing a camera and then filming themselves swearing, bragging, confessing while the camera is still rolling.
Liberals can not help themselves and it is videos like this that prove it. What would be even more illuminating is if the liberals don't know they are being recorded.

People in Manhattan, Hollywood, etc... are there to actually seek out this highly concentrated collection of people with their own world-view. Therefore, they are shocked, surprised and outraged to actually see someone with a different view. That is why their response was so primal and reactionary.

The McCain Manhattan group has over 1000 members...they are out at street fairs, subway stops, marching amongst the crowds every week.

An old friend of mine from upstate (I’m Texan) would tell me the same thing and heck that was in the 60s! I didn’t understand, he was so “country”, now I know.

I'm from upstate, but I'll point out that in 2004, our good friends in the NYC borough of Staten Island went for Bush over Kerry by seven points.
Well, and to think that one of his closest LTs (now Capt.) in his platoon is from Staten Island also, fiercely conservative, stand up guy, okay I’ll erase that last statement. But my buddy from upstate was always grumbling, huffing and groaning about lowerstaters. I never did really understand all that until many years later.
When N.Y. gets hit again should we give a crap?
Before 9-11, most Americans hated liberal overspending N.Y. City.
Seems the folks there have forgotten and once again have fallen back to their lousy attitudes.
