Melamine isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I used to work for a company that fused melamine paper to particleboard (they made the particleboard too). It allowed the boards to be any color, and the colors were striking. If you have any budget furniture, you might have some in your house.
“Melamine isnt necessarily a bad thing.”
As long as you don’t eat it.
So you are saying it is good for furniture. I suppose it is.
Formaldehyde glue, nails, screws, and polyurethane varnish are good for furniture too, but should we have to point out to the Chinese that they are bad for food?
I wonder what other little surprises are going to show up in Chinese foods and food products?
I say that that manufacturers should be required to put country of origin of ALL ingredients on the label and then we can decide if we want to take the chance.
Fine. You eat it and let us know how you do.
Water isn't necessarily a bad thing either.
Nobody said melamine in and of itself was such a bad thing. We just don't want it in our food. Maybe you need to read up on this a little more before you go making a fool out of yourself any more.
