Imagining An Obama Administration. Is It Too Late To Surrender?
Rational Thought

Posted on 10/12/2008 12:54:15 PM PDT by Rational Thought

I'm imagining an Obama victory.

I'm imagining how the McCain campaign will blame the loss solely on the economy.

I'm imagining a Government controlled by Senator Obama, Speaker Pelosi and Senate Leader Reid.

I'm imagining we could still surrender in Iraq.

I'm imagining how quickly troops could be pulled from the Middle East.

I'm imagining how quickly Al Queda could regain control.

I'm imagining our Government apoligizing to the Taliban, the Government of Iran and other Radical groups.

I'm imagining the War Crimes Trials which would be held, accusing the Bush administration and it's supporters, including Senator John McCain, of War Crimes.

I'm imagining how 9/11 will be completely forgotten.

I'm imagining a demoralized military and a new military draft.

I'm imagining an Obama Cabinet including Senator Chris Dodd, Senator Dick Durbin, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Congressman Barney Frank, businessmen Franklin D. Raines and James A. Johnson.

I'm imagining the biggest round of tax increases ever.

I'm imagining new types of taxes.

I'm imagining Nationalization of many major industries and other forms of Socialism.

I'm imagining a Media incapable of any criticism of the Government and a re-implementation of the Fairness Doctrine.

Is this just my vivid imagination? I hope so.

If I had any 2nd amendment objects, I ‘imagine’ that I would be damned careful telling anyone I had them. If I had them, I ‘imagine’ I would make sure that they wouldn’t be found easily. In sum, I’d be very careful how I referred to them to anyone.

Over? Did you say “over”? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

There is a lot of doom and gloom trolls or whiners lately!

They say either “Cut and Run” or “Give up the Ship”.

Get lost!

Actually, I didn’t read anyone saying “cut and run” or “give up the ship” on this thread. What I do see is people weighing the possible impact if 0bama does win.

I'm imagining indirect reparations on a massive scale - with any and everyone who questions it being attacked as a racist.

I'm imagining all the conservative talk radio people muzzled and/or shut down.

I'm imagining www.FreeRepublic.com being shut down.

I'm imagining dems ensuring they never, ever, ever lose control of the white house, senate, house, etc.

I'm imagining a Media incapable of any criticism of the Government and a re-implementation of the Fairness Doctrine.

The media's failure to report the facts about Fannie/Freddie shows that they are already are incapable of criticism of Democrats even when they were intrumental in causing the financial/mortgage/housing mess we are now in. We no longer have a free press looking out for the public, they merely provide cover and propaganda for Democrats.

A protest the media event is in the planning stages for Oct 21st:

Protest the Media Thread

Protest The Media Website

The website needs freeper help posting information now!

Censorship is a hard thing to make stick, and technological advances make it harder and harder to enforce. They can go after domestic websites. If they make that censorship stick, the website moves abroad. If they firewall off foreign websites (good luck making that stick), then we go to passing information around on disks or on paper. What are they going to do, make DVD writers or Xerox machines illegal? Doubt it. And then there's email encryption. If enough people are passing around encrypted email, they won't have the resources to intercept and investigate it.

Censorship could never be enforced perfectly in the USSR (cf "samizdat"), and it will be much, much harder to enforce it in Obama's Fascist Amerika.

If you didn’t see this one coming, you just weren’t looking. For most of our country’s history, we have celebrated diversity in our population as if it were a good thing, but one look at world history will show you that no country with a diverse population of different races, languages, and religions has long survived.

Countries do not naturally form with a diverse population, and when in the past they have occurred, it has usually been as the result of armed conquest. These unnaturally formed countries have either melded together into a population made up of one mixed race with one language and one religion or they have come apart, and they have usually come apart with extreme violence. The longer these diverse populations are forced to coexist with one another without mixing and becoming one, the more the hatred grows among them and the more violently they break apart, but break apart they will.

So, with this history lesson in mind, what future do you see for our country? Will we soon become one people made up of dark skinned, dark haired, Spanish speaking Muslims, or will we break up into three or four small (Balkanized) third-world countries that hate their neighbor’s guts?

As we continue to live out the old Chinese curse, “May you live in intersting times.”

Amen. Perusing the latest posts page earlier, more than half of the threads were vanities ... and stupid vanities at that.

Would the next person who thinks a vanity is necessary please RESTRAIN YOURSELF?

I'm imagining no more doom-and-gloom vanities.

I'm imagining all of us coming together and supportung the McCain-Palin ticket.

I'm imagining none of us trying to demoralize the others.

I'm imagining none of us believing the media.

Hey, wait....I feel a song coming on.

Let's see...something like this...

Imagine there's no heaven...
it's easy of you try....

Something like that.

So - this election is the tipping point then?

If Obama/Biden wins, socialism and reparations.

If McCain wins, race riots and continued dem/media sabotage.

When the sh*t eventually hits the fan, and I'm afraid it will happen sooner than later, I'm going to blame Ted Turner - CNN has been generating anti-American hatred both in this country and abroad for decades.
