Have we reached the part of fascism where the state begins to kill off the non-productive members of our society? Methinks a fair number of members of those groups would qualify.

Great.
There goes the state employee Blue Cross/Blue Shield *wonderful* health care that my husband worked hard for and pays dearly for every month...just so the lazy slobs who *don’t* take responsibility for the care of their families can have welfare care.

Actually, if they do away with our state employee health insurance, they’ll be killing off the -productive- members of society so the lazy societal bums can have “free health care”.

WHY NOT, JOE?

We (the taxpayers) just cut a loan check for upwards of a trillion dollars. Even a pinhead like Bill O'Really says that The Messiah won't be able to fund "universal health care" with the remnants of the Federal government's revenues.

But - WHY NOT, JOE?

I spent the better part of the day driving through McCotter’s district today, ‘he’s safe’ as they say on reality shows. His district is only 2640’ feet from mine.
We’ve got Walberg. Not bad in a state of blue stomach flu.

This is all part of their plan. Check out this article Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis from American Thinker. The Cloward-Piven Strategy mentioned in the article tries to accomplish the following:
  1. The offensive organizes previously unorganized groups eligible for government benefits but not currently receiving all they can.
  2. The offensive seeks to identify new beneficiaries and/or create new benefits.
  3. The overarching aim is always to impose new stresses on target systems, with the ultimate goal of forcing their collapse.

They've been involved in welfare abuse, illegal immigration rights, the mortgage crisis, and very recently voter fraud. So apparently now they turn their sights to the health care industry.

I always envisioned the dismantling of the American way of life would be subtle and gradual but this stuff is happening at breakneck speeds now. We're doomed if Obama wins and the democrats control congress.

That's what they don't get, because they don't look at history. Once they kill off the producers, who will supply them with their Free Stuff?

They vote for their own misery.

Which makes the politicians even more despicable, because they know this. Lust for power and control.

If the Useful Idiots could only grasp that they are voting for those that have nothing but contempt for them.

Right now *I* am concerned with losing the great doctor who literally saved hubby’s life.
He is in WV but we are in MD, very close by.
Our BC/BS allows us to pick whatever doctor we want, wherever they practice.

If we lose that, then what??

There are NO doctors like ours anywhere in our area.
Hell, disregarding skill factors, there are precious few who even speak English well enough that we can understand them.

My one great love’s life will be jeopardized for the sake of lazy welfare leeches?

That is NOT acceptable!

The Goose with the Golden Eggs

By Aesop

A CERTAIN MAN had the good fortune to possess a Goose that laid him a Golden Egg every day. But dissatisfied with so slow an income, and thinking to seize the whole treasure at once, he killed the Goose, and cutting her open, found her - just what any other goose would be!

Moral: Much wants more, and loses all.

It just amazes me that people will beg for slavery.

However, given the outcry by the audience at the McCain rallies and reading thru the various PUMA blogs, I have some hope that people understand exactly what voting for zerO and all the other zeros is going to bring. They may be PO’d at McCain for his old-fashioned honor code, but they will vote for him just because they are all terrified of a zerO administration. Reading the PUMA blogs, they are telling folks to vote straight GOP to prevent a donk trifecta, just in case zerO’s vote fraud succeeds.

When they kill off all the producers, they will go after anyone with anything at all and take it by force because it “isn't fair”. When that well runs dry, they engineer famines to kill off the takers. After that, there are purges within the cadre because there isn't enough loot to go around. Bodies dangling from light poles are the penultimate event. Then you have the oligarchs taking over the State-owned industries in the name of a New Capitalism and it starts all over again.

We will have to fight if this obamination becomes reality. My grandparents left Russia, Ukraine and Lithuania 100 years ago because of the sort of system zerO will bring to fruition. This time, there is nowhere to run.

I’ve been to an Indian doc twice [endocrinoligist] and have NO idea WTH his nurse said and about half an idea of what he said.

I have to take hubby in with me just to force them to speak, sloooowly, clearly [as much as possible, anyway] and to REPEAT things several times.

They are here on our dime.
Scholarships, so I’m told.

That is why this medical garbage scares me.
Our doc is good MD boy who moved to WV after graduating med school.

He is as brilliant as “House” but with a wildly happy, caring attitude.

We simply can not do without him.

Our last doc was Vietnamese with a half Spanish-half Italian sounding name...and couldn’t speak English if his life depended on it.

It’s faster, easier and *much* less stressful just to throw away your problem computer and buy a new one....LOL

I don’t know what happened to this once-great country.
Democrats/liberals would my pick for the blame.
They created a “gimme it free” society to get themselves voted into office.
Apparently an awful lot of people find it hard to refuse a “free ride”.

Mydoc is wonderful and like yours, a truly caring man, and he has taken care of my family for 30 years. There are some people that I take to their Dr. appointments which are some of these others that can’t speak so you can understand them, but I won’t put up with it. The person I have taken there deserves to know what he said and then to understand what it means for them medically. They kind of hate to see me coming, but I am so fed up with it I don’t care anymore.

If they are “brilliant” enough to become a doctor they should be “brilliant” enough to learn to speak English.

I have my own version of what happened. In the 60’s when my husband and I were working hard, starting a family etc. the hippies (Clintons etc) were planning. They yelled a little, we joked about them and we ignored them. They were just a bunch of freaks. That was our first mistake. They grew out of sight like a cancer for several years, then we started feeling the pain and.....

Yea I wonder what they are going to say about all the illegals that we supposedly “need” when the unemployment rate in this country starts to rise in relation to the stock market. Americans who can’t find work and illegals still coming across the boarder to take what jobs there are. You know not all illegals are out in the fields picking corn or whatever. I know of a few instances where they are working on union crews making the “big bucks”.

Many doctors in our area are not taking any more Medicare patients. They have long ago decided to not take Medi-Cal patients. There is just not enough reimbursement for their services. Unless Obama puts all the private insurers OUT of business, along with all their employees and shareholders, you will continue to see physicians cherry picking their patients. After all, they have gone through almost twelve years of med school to get where they are. Many cannot repay those college loans with what the goverment entities alone reimburse them. And if they fail to get their billing in on time, they lose any chance of being paid at all for their services.

If it hadn’t been for a dear friend [rest in peace, Jim Morton] we would have *never* been able to even get into to see our doctor the first time.

Jim recommended us and we actually went in for an “interview” to see if we were “special” enough for him to jam into his already overloaded patient list.

Our doc is *so* poplular and well loved, it is virtually impossible to become a “new patient” of his without extreme circumstances such as we had with Jim vouching for us.

In that first informal, non-medical visit, he spotted a couple of things that hubby’s hot shot “specialists” had not noticed and thereby saved his life.

Never in my life have I felt actual love for a physician, but this guy has both our hearts.

We’d do anything for him and vice versa.

I am terrified we’ll lose him because of “that one” and his worthless, substandard Marxist/socialist medical crap.

Our doc has reassured us that The Evil One will not succeed in destroying BC/BS and even if he did, he’d find some way to keep us as patients.

I don’t know how he could manage that but I pray that he can.

I live out in the boonies of western MD.

I never even saw a “hippy” until my wacky dad [so out of touch with current events] took us to *Canada* on vacation in the summer of *1969*.
[talk about terrible timing]

What I saw of them there was all I ever needed to know about them.

Filthy, disgusting, perverted, ammoral bums.

Later that summer, we were in VA Beach on vacation and I was having stomach problems.

Dad stopped at a gas station for me and while I was in the bathroom, two hippy skanks *opened* the door and yanked me off of the toilet because “We really got pee, ya know, maaaan?”

Dad was pumping gas and saw what was happening and ran over.

It was the only time I ever saw him lay hands on “ladies”.

He grabbed them by the scruffs of their necks, jerked them out of the toilet and flung them backwards into the parking lot onto their asses.

And there I stood, 8 years old with my shorts down along a busy street, crying, and very *messy* because of the stomach cramps I’d had.

All because they couldn’t wait a few minutes.

I have had what I consider a very reasonable horror of them ever since.

Ignorant, soulless scum.

You will appreciate this story. As seniors in high school, several years before we were married, my husband and I were showing at the National Western Stockshow in Denver, which is a HUGE event. I showed horses, he had sheep.

The sheep were housed in barns just off the walk around, which was like a hub for the whole thing. You walked in on one end of the barn then out the other end.

The same policemen were on duty in that area everyday and we became friends. They disliked the hippies as much as we did. They would walk through the barns with their filthy long hair etc. making nasty remarks etc. and being jerks. We and our friends finally had enough.

They came strutting through the barn and when they got next to the pen where we were grooming the sheep my husband and friends grabbed them and drug them down into the pen and used the sheep shears on their heads:) LOL you should of heard them yell:) The policemen at either door turned their back and looked the other way.

They couldn’t complain because the policemen were not their friend:) They sure looked funny. We didn’t do a very good job. Still makes me laugh 40 years later.

They’re already in control of education. Have been for 15 years, at least.

Ever heard of the small schools initiative (Ayers, with help from Bill Gates)? Ever looked at the curriculum of public school districts and the TOCs (and beyond) of approved textbooks in history, English, government?

We are now 2 generations into socialist indoctrination in P-12. Three for college.

because the American doctors who speak english are tired of working ever longer hours for less compensation, more regulation, and more lawsuits.
While I make a good living, the amount I make would likely surprise you. It is certainly less than lawyers, engineers and other professionals. I spent 4 yrs in post grad school then another 3 years in residency making the princely sum of 23000 per year (for working approx 100 hours per week).
Once I got out of school, I began making the “big buck” around age 30 - 4 to 6 yrs behind my colleagues in other professions. I still work nights, holidays and weekends. I miss countless kids activities to take care of “one more patient” or someone who is too sick to leave at the time.
For all this I get decent compensation (although it takes evey penny my husband and I make to be counted as the “evil rich” As a reward for 22 years of faithful service, medicare is trying to slash its already basement bottom compensation. Obama is trying to tax what is left after I meet Mr. Alternative Minimum tax. Currently my marginal tax rate is 40-50% if I want to make extra money to do something foolish like send the kids to college (no financial aid for you - you’re rich)
Im fed up and will retire as soon as my kids are out of school. You want to know why there are no English speaking doctors? Thats why. And if you think its bad now, wait for universal health care. I will NOT work for the government. I guess I will open that quilt shop after all. /rant off

You know, I’ve learned a lot from talking to people from other countries - like Venezuela - who are very nervous about this election. Every lib who is complaining about things needs to take half a day and listen - really listen - to just what this country’s got and how close we are to losing it.

The way the 0bama campaign and its supporters treated the Hillary campaign and its supporters was the biggest eye opener for Dems ever. To give so many millions a virtual slap in the face and completely take over the party SHOULD scare them. In the meantime, he’s being promoted as a unifying, post-racial candidate in positive terms by the MSM while Bill Clinton is slapped with the racist tag. The superdelegates were threatened by racism and losing their seats if they DIDN’T vote for 0bama. Still he’s allowed to march on.

Here's the text of the article:

Recently in Annapolis and in 52 other cities across the country, including 37 state capitals, a new national campaign is bringing together millions of Americans to demand quality, affordable health care for all.

Health Care for America Now (HCAN) is being launched by nearly 100 national and local groups that represent labor, community organizations, doctors, nurses, women, small businesses, the faith community, people of color, netroots activists, and think tanks. Health Care for America Now is organizing to make sure that the first order of business of the next President and Congress in 2009 is to pass legislation that guarantees quality, affordable health care for all. Health Care for America Now is an unprecedented coalition led by ACORN, AFSCME, Americans United for Change, Campaign for America’s Future, Center for American Progress Action Fund, Center for Community Change, MoveOn, National Education Association, National Women’s Law Center, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, SEIU, United Food and Commercial Workers, and USAction.

“In 2009, we will either have a guarantee of quality, affordable health care we all can count on or we will continue to be at the mercy of the private health insurance industry that is charging us more, giving us less and putting company profits before our health,” said Elbridge James, president of Progressive Maryland. “Here in Annapolis and in communities all across the country, we’re asking one question: ‘Which side are you on?’ Are you on the side of quality, affordable health care that is guaranteed and can never be taken away? Or are you on the side that says people should be left alone to fend for themselves against a greedy, unscrupulous insurance industry that too often puts profits before people?”

Also speaking at the Annapolis launch event were:

• Vincent DeMarco, President, Maryland Citizens Health Initiative, the state’s leading health care reform organization

• Arnold Hamilton, Baltimore Director, SEIU Local 32-BJ

• Stuart Katzenberg, Director, Maryland ACORN

• Glenard Middleton, Executive Director, AFSCME Maryland Council 67

• L. Anthony Perez, Government Affairs Coordinator, UFCW Local 400

• Denise Riley, Political Director, Md-DC AFL-CIO

Also participating in the event were Casa of Maryland, Planned Parenthood of Maryland, the Maryland Budget and Tax Policy Institute, the Network of Spiritual Progressives, the Maryland/ DC Alliance for Retired Americans, and the Maryland State Teachers Association.

In addition to the organizations in attendance, the Health Care for American Now! launch was supported by average Marylanders whose encounters with our broken health care system have left them sicker and poorer:

• Deloris Vaughn from Towson in Baltimore County (410-823-8372 home or 410-591-2029 cell): Ms. Vaughn, who is a business owner with a Ph.D., applied for individual coverage from a private health insurance company but was rejected because of “preexisting conditions,” one of the most common of the abusive health insurance industry practices that has been outlawed in every country other than the United State of America. Ms. Vaughn’s story was featured in the book “Faces of Maryland’s Uninsured” published by the Maryland Citizens Health Initiative.

• Delores Cheatham, an ACORN member from Baltimore City, whose “preexisting conditions” also cost her her health care coverage. Ms. Cheatham can be reached via Maryland ACORN at 410-735-3360.

Under the Health Care for America Now principles, which are detailed at www.HealthCareForAmericaNow. org, private insurers would be forbidden from taking away or denying insurance or making it unaffordable due to an individual’s health status. The Health Care for America Now campaign will present the principles to members of Congress, who will be asked to indicate whether or not they support them.

Over the next five months, Health Care for America Now plans to spend $25 million on paid media and have 100 organizers in 45 states. Starting today, the campaign is spending an initial $1.5 million on national television, print, and online advertising and is sending out an email blast to more than 5 million people. Copies of the print and video ads are on the website, www.HealthCareForAmericaNow.org.

Health Care for America Now offers a bold new vision for health care reform: Americans can keep the private insurance they have, join a new private insurance plan, or choose a public health insurance plan. The campaign also calls for a government role in setting and enforcing rules on the insurance industry which consistently charges unaffordable prices, sets high deductibles, denies coverage based on pre-existing conditions, and drops or limits coverage when people get sick. Health Care for America Now started with a financial commitment of at least $500,000 from each of the 13 steering committee members and a $10 million grant from NY-based Atlantic Philanthropies.

The real point of “universal, free” health care is not to provide health care. It’s to control purchase contracts that bring in millions or billions in kickbacks, bribes, buy-offs, etc. for the purchasers, as well as controlling the employees of all healthcare organizations and making them beholden to the ruling party.
