I looked up "Faith In Public Life" (faithinpubliclife.org) conductor of the poll.

Their 'vision' states: Faith in Public Life envisions a country in which diverse religious voices for justice and the common good consistently impact public policy;

We all know what "justice" and "common good" is code for.

This is garbage. I know evangelicals who freaked when they saw his logo and the logo on his plane. A lot of evangelicals and others think he is “the one” but not the one you think. The anti one. I am not joking either.

I am getting sick of reading this pap. What church can endorse a proponent of infanticide? I just don’t get it, and I certainly would be leaving any such church and finding one that believe in the culture of life, not the culture of Democrat DEATH.;

Same here- I know a lot of evangelicals-and there isn’t a one who will be voting for the false messiah. Stands to reason though, that someone who refuses to put his hand over his heart, of course, wants nothing to do with a flag on his plane...

“Most churches I’ve ever been to have WEEKLY services.”

Yeah. The survey filters out weekly church attenders. It probably asked, “Would you say that you attend church weekly, monthly or only a few times each year?”

That is a skewed number of people. However, there are liberal evangelicals. I know. I teach at a Christian university and half the faculty are Democrat and spew the same liberal garbage you hear on MSM. (Bush lied, health care is a right, help the poor means government give aways.)

Faith In Public Life

Founding

The 2004 elections brought a resurgence in religious advocacy for social and economic justice. Yet the Religious Right continued to dominate public discourse on issues of faith — primarily targeting issues of abortion and homosexuality — and virtually ignoring issues of justice and the common good. In December 2004, national religious leaders – including Jim Wallis, Rabbi David Saperstein, Rev. Jim Forbes, Rev. Bob Edgar, Sr. Catherine Pinkerton, Rev. C. Welton Gaddy, and Rev. Timothy McDonald — gathered in Washington, DC to confront the challenges facing the burgeoning social justice faith movement. They recognized the critical need for increased and effective collaboration, coordination, and communication on the national, state and local level. The meeting resulted in the creation of Faith in Public Life — a permanent organization providing critical organizing and communications resources to strengthen diverse faith movements that share a call to pursue justice and the common good.

When I read in the USAToday article that the poll was conducted by a “non partisan group”, I knew immediately what it meant. So I went to their site for confirmation, and I was right !

“Non Partisan” in lib media speak = LIBERAL, but trying to sound credible.

“Right wing” or “conservative group” = Objective.
