In America, when we get knocked down,
we don't stay down.
In the last 80 years, America has experienced
13 economic recessions.
And fought back with 13 economic expansions.
It was never easy, but it was always possible.
If you're bullish on America, and we are,
then you're bullish on getting up and coming back.
That's not a belief. That's history.
There is no less pain in the interim.
Of course - for the last depression it took 11 years and a world war to “get us back up...”
when we come back it will be in spite of Washington and Wall Street. I have faith in the American People. I have no faith in our business or political leaders.
11 years is not the end of the world. We faced a lot worse than a first term, metrosexual senator from Chicago.
Agree with both.
But when we get knocked down, we also go find the rotten SOBs who did the knocking, and take our revenge.
I realize it’s a bit over the top, but I keep wanting to compare the economic meltdown to 9/11 and Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, et al to Mohammed Atta and his pals.
I spose that makes me a “Bad American”...
If Barry wins...well....
if he wins we’ll have to be prepared. The stupid college kids, with their iphones and dreams of owning fast cars and cool toys will suffer the most under Obama.
We’ve never been sucker-punched by a community organizer before...
we should be able to adapt.
we will, but we can’t keep letting financial and political houses of cards, put in place to do the impossible, bring us to a standstill. Also letting our system be dependent on communist and opecian systems will always lead us to ruin.Straight-up we got the fundamentals,,lets get back to basics,,its not that hard,,,you need political fortitude by honest leaders who were honestly elected to get us back to where we should have been, sadly we don’t even have that, unless we sweep this election, stop the socialist, fight on a plank that is understood and believed in,that brings back basic simplicity,we do not need worry about economics.
we know what we can do. Pay off debt, live within our means, get in shape and eat right, learn new skills and...buy low and sell high.
I disagree...we still pay to this day for the failed policies of Jimmuh Cahtuh...I fear an ObamaNation presidency would make Cahtuh’s debacle seem like a walk in the park.
