ACORN probe gives GOP new line of attack (Can we PLEASE move past Hussein Obomber's terrorist ties?)

ACORN probe gives GOP new line of attack
Alexander Burns
1 hour, 23 minutes ago

It’s the newest charge against Sen. Barack Obama in the presidential campaign: that he worked, as a young community organizer, with a group now involved in voter registration fraud.

But while this particular accusation may be new, the group in question, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, is one of the oldest political targets around.

The latest wave of ACORN investigations has provided Republicans with both an opening to assail an old foe, and a new line of criticism to use against the Democratic presidential nominee, who represented ACORN in a lawsuit in the 1990s.

Nevada authorities raided the group's state headquarters Tuesday in connection with a voter-fraud probe. The branch had submitted voter registration forms carrying the names of celebrities such as Tony Romo and Terrell Owens, both members of the Dallas Cowboys, and other voters have come forward to say that they were asked by ACORN employees to submit multiple registration forms.

“Given ACORN’s recent efforts to engage in voter fraud and to disrupt our political system, Obama’s affiliation with this group raises serious questions about his judgment and ability to lead this nation,” Sen. John McCain's campaign wrote in a memo Friday.

During the Democratic primaries, Obama was endorsed by ACORN’s political action committee. And in the early 1990s, according to the McCain campaign, Obama was involved in teaching community organizing classes for the organization.

Obama’s campaign has also shelled out about $800,000 to an ACORN subsidiary, Citizens Services Inc., to help with voter registration efforts. Although ACORN says it is nonpartisan, its registration efforts tend to be focused among groups friendly to Democratic candidates.

...he worked, as a young community organizer...

Isn't THAT his only self-professed "experience" to become president? Oh, my.

And he's tied to terrorists as well? As far as RATS go, he's more than qualified.

Didn’t he also defend ACORN in court as an OLD “community organizer” and didn’t he also teach newly-recruited ACORNS on the methods used to shake down “whitey?” Burns needs to go back and do a little more research.

The right to vote and have that vote count is fundamental to our society. If Obama can be connected to this FRAUD, it could help McCain/Palin. Let us hope and pray that happens.

Ayers is just setting the table. Which is appropriate since Ayers set the table for Obama's career.

Now onto the meat and potatoes...

Lets see terrorist bomber Ayers launched Obama's career, Rezko being grilled by FBI & on his way to jail also launched Obama's political career, heavily involved with Acorn, a group promoting voter fraud thoughout the country, questionable Natural Born Citizen status and will not get into the "religious" zealots he's associated with.

Not even close, my friend. Ayers, Odinga, and Al-Monsour...it all needs to come out and the voters need to be educated about just who is Barry Soetoro (aka. Barrack Hussein Obama.)

“The latest wave of ACORN investigations has provided Republicans with both an opening to assail an old foe, and a new line of criticism to use against the Democratic presidential nominee”

Damn right it does.

Imagine for a moment, if you can, a world in which conservative organizations, such as, oh, I don’t know, the Society for Low Taxes Now, were paid by the government to agitate for less government. Now imagine that this same group freely and quite openly flouted the laws of the very state subsidizing it.

What would the MSM say? I bet exactly the opposite of what they say about what goes down in every single state in the nation. As insane as it is, basically every liberal organization is supported by public funds, public funds that are used to convince people to sit back while further funds are stolen from them. Some of them (not all, but some) totally ignore the laws of the state that partly gives them a living. But why should they follow the laws? Government officials don’t.

What happens when Republicans do the MSM’s job and point out the corruption? They’re glibly dismissed as angry partisans.

McCain is losing this campaign because he refuses to fight Obama and his lies, and dirty tactics such as ACORN voter fraud. He’s just been rolling over (or bending over, I should say) and accepting the abuse heaped upon him- and expecially Sarah Palin.
The anemic attempts by the McCain camp to fight back within the last few days just ain’t gonna get it.

Watch out! The only reason the media is reporting this is to implant in the public’s mind the that Republicans are making the claim that Obama “worked, as a young community organizer, with ACORN”, a claim that is false and will soon be loudly “proven false”, thus inoculating the sainted one against further ACORN criticism. The McCain campaign has not been claiming that OBAMA worked for ACORN as a community organizer. What is troubling about Obama and Acorn are their -recent financial ties-.

I just sent an email about ACORN using your email list and a ton of them bounced back - any idea what is going on?Here are the ones that have bounced so far (I’m not typing out the entire email address here) hume@fox, morning@npr,phil.griffin@NBC.com,dlow@cnbc.com.all the cnn email addresses, all the MSNBC addresses.

I used the method recommended by another poster to just put a main addresses in the to: line, then blind copy the rest of the addresses. The errors didn’t say their mailboxes were full or anything, the ones to NPR said user unknown. The others either said delivery failed or remote server rejected address. Any idea what the problem is?
Thanks

I think several videos and advertisements about what ACORN is really doing would be excellent.

Even better would be a video of them being served papers to appear in court on tampering with an election changes!

I am serious. Get going, guys and gals.
