Lord we lift up President Bush tonight and pray that you would fill him full of wisdom. There are a lot of suppositions about our economic future. And as our President leads this nation guide him, enable him to be strong and courageous. To get the job done that needs to be done. May he not become frightened or discouraged, be with him wherever he goes.
Father we also lift up Senator McCain and Governor Palin. As they face increased scrutiny, may they cling to you Lord, You Precious Lord who is ever steady in the storm. Psalm 66:12 says You have caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water. But you brought us out to rich fulfillment. Father you always have a purpose in our problems and we pray that they would know that you are allowing it however not without a purpose and that you have something exciting in store for them.
Lord be with our service men and women. We pray for their safety and Lord we pray for their spiritual life. Give them the ability for see Your fingerprint on each circumstance of their lives. Make them ever mindful of Your presence. We ask these thing in Your Son’s holy and precious name, amen.
An evening call to prayer.
Lord God,
Evil is everyone and our nation faces perilous times. May the American people awaken from their hypnotic trance before it is too late.
Lord, I pray for President Bush. The love of money is the root of all evil and he is messing with evil. A lot could happen that could hamper freedom in this nation and the world. Keep him on the right side. Keep him from erring or choosing poorly in efforts to stabilize our economy.
I pray for Senator McCain. May he see clearly what our nation is facing and may he be bold in denouncing the evil that surrounds us. And for Governor Palin, we love her Lord and hate how they have treated her. Comfort her and deliver her from those who would do her harm. She may well be our Esther or our Deborah - fighting on the side of right, against infanticide and for Your people Israel. There are still righteous in America who want to see this nation turn to You. For our sakes Lord, and for Your name’s sake, touch our land.
In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen.
Prayers up for our beloved President!
No one knows the burdens this President carries except You, Father. We pray that You ease those burdens and light his way. In Jesus' Name.

Heavenly Father, You are our shepherd, You are our peace. You are holy and righteous. You hold up the weak and Your mighty hand strengthens us when we are weak. You have called Your remnant for such a time as this to pray and intercede for our country. A country who was founded on You and who has done so much good in its short history.
We ask you to spare it. We ask You to give strength to those in government who are fighting against the evil one to destroy it.
We pray you will be with Senator McCain and Governor Palin. We ask that You will the eyes of his heart and understand this battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual darkness and evil. I ask that you will strengthen Governor Palin against the false accusations of the enemy and that You will protect her mind, body and spirit. Put your hedge of protection around her family. We pray You will strengthen Senator McCain and let him draw close to You.
We pray against all the false accusations and all of the plots and criminal acts that are being done behind the scenes. We ask you to reveal these things and make them backfire on those who do them.
We pray for President Bush. Your Spirit tells me he needs to turn back to You. We pray you will give him wisdom through this financial crisis and we pray his counsel will be Godly and good. We pray against those who have other motives and we pray that these things will be found out and come out into the open.
I ask that the enemy be weakened in these last days of the election. Let Your Spirit shine and let it be revealed to a lost generation in a post Christian society that does not know you.
We pray You will revive believers hearts and then we will go out love others how You want us to love and share the “good news” with those who have open hearts to hear. We ask these things in Jesus Christ Name, Amen.

Father I pray tonight for John McCain and Sarah Palin that You would give them favor with man and with You. Please give them wisdom from You to help lead this country out of the fearful economic mess, and understanding beyond their natural minds for answers for these tremendously difficult times.
Only You have all power and nothing is impossible for You to do. We want Your will on earth as it is in heaven.Bless this nation for Jesus and for His kingdoms sake.In Jesus Name Amen.

Father, we stand together today in prayer for President Bush. Speak to him, Father, give him words of encouragement, and guidance in making appropriate decisions for our nation and especially our economic condition. Father, we also pray for Senator McCain and Governor Palin. Lord, give Senator McCain a mighty strength, and a message that will resonate with voters. There is not much time left, Lord, and so we pray that You would act and show us a sign for good. Protect Sarah Palin against the attacks of evil; knock them down with Your righteous right hand, Lord, and make her more appealing to voters more than ever. I pray that You would convict and humble those who attack her without cause. I pray for victory on election day for the sake of our country, and especially for innocent lives who would certainly have no chance against an Obama presidency. Show mercy and favor toward us, Lord, we humbly pray. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
