(Oct 10, 2008) -- "Secret Service Intimidates Private Citizen for Obama" -
MUST-READ. Obama intimidation.
We have to fight back
We MUST not take this bullsh*t lying down. If they thought we were angry before, they haven't seen anything yet. Spread this everywhere.
This is what America under Obama will look like.

Quote: Secret Service Intimidates Private Citizen for Obama Posted by Jessica Hughes on Friday, October 03, 2008 2:35:01 PM
On Wednesday the 1st of October I received a call on my cell while in the car with my husband. It was a woman who identified herself as calling from the Obama Campaign. The phone # she called from was 903-798-6020 which lists as "Obama Volunteers of Texarkana" (Texas).
She asked if I was an Obama supporter to which I replied:
"No, I don't support him, your guy is a socialist who voted four times in the State Senate to let little babies die in hospital closets; I think you should find something better to do with your time." I hung up.
Thursday, October 2, I answered the front door to find the Secret Service. Immediately I thought of the call and was furious that apparently you are not allowed to call Obama a Socialist without the Secret Service coming to investigate. Instead, they asked me about the following comment, relayed by the Obama Volunteer of Texarkana who called me, unsolicited on my cell phone:
"I will never support Obama and he will wind up dead on a hospital floor."
My husband laughed and told them No, she called him a socialist but she never said a word about him dying. I gave them my actual quote. The woman asked insolently Oh? Well why would she make that up?

Good this is getting even more publicity.
Yep, heard this caller on the Sean Hannity radio program the other day.
Bump.
Bump
Maybe the caller was more versed in Ebonics than English...possibly?
bump
you posted it to the right place!
EXPECT THIS FROM A DEMOCRAP CONTROLLED GOVERNMENT
the FAIRNESS DOCTRINE will only be the beginning
She needs to file a FOIA.
Her phone record should have the number of the incoming call.
Hussein will do ANYTHING to squash anyone who disagrees with him....this is absurd and should be investigated.
Sounds like someone wants to keep the Secret Service busy chasing wild geese....
CELL PHONES SHOULD COME WITH AN INSTANT RECORD BUTTON THAT ALLOWS YOU TO TAPE YOUR CONVERSATIONS
I dont care if it is illegal to record someone else, but play YOUR SIDE of the recording, it can’t be illegal to record yourself for your own protection, can it? (yet)
Is this story confirmed?
INTREP
It is a criminal offense to file a false report to the U.S. Secret Service, and libel to falsely accuse someone of threatening someone under the USSS’s protection. The woman who was so accused should act on both of these things.
“Sounds like someone wants to keep the Secret Service busy chasing wild geese....”
Which is heap bad juju, aka a Federal felony.
All I know is Kwame Kilpatrick, the now FORMER mayor of Detroit, who will be going to jail at the end of the month, used to have his personal EPU, Executive Protection Unit, a band of thuggish police officers who’s job it was to make Kwame feel like a gansta with his entourage, and also to rough up reporters who got to close and asked to many embarassing questions.
Check it out, the EPU just doin they job, ‘splainin’ to cracker reporters why dey shouldn’t be aksin’ Kwame too many questions wat ain’t nun yo bidness: (This might be one of the former EPU who’s been reassigned to traffic duty following Kwame’s fall from grace.) heh...heh...heh....

Those Hillary gals are as fired up as we are. THAT ONE has done the unthinkable—united Republicans and Hillary supporters. Some of them are even listening to Rush and Hannity and Coulter now. Holy crap.
After the TRUTH SQUADS in Missouri, I don’t doubt this for one minute. I do doubt that these agents were actually FBI. I believe they were Obama-Bots sent out to intimidate.

I also heard the program and I was disappointed in Hannity because he blew her off. Told her he was glad the SS was doing its job.
Of course, he is very sensitive to threats as his life has been threatned many times.
Still, I wrote him and told him that he owes her an apology for blowing her off and that one nice way to apologize would be to use his influence to determine whether she is on some sort of watch list and if so, use his influence to get her name removed.
We will see whether he really reads his email.
I hope one of BO’s will call me. I will be sure to say something that will bring the SS to my house and then the $$h*t will fly.
Of course, I am not dumb enough to threaten him, just mean enough to make the caller so mad they will try this on me.
The woman asked insolently Oh? Well why would she make that up?

Secret Service visits Lufkin woman after ‘death threat’ allegation from an Obama campaign volunteer
Lufkin Daily News ^ | October 6, 2008 | Jessica Savage
It’s in the Lufkin not-exactly-conservative paper! Oct.6.
I am just wondering if they were real SS officials. They showed badges then refused to show them again, I think that isn’t professional.
I would not put anything past the O team to send not real officials just to scare the family.
McCain says Obama is a nice guy and there is nothing to fear if he is elected.
Move along.
Is it against the law to state your opinion that someone will end up dead? Is it agaist the law to “wish” someone was dead? If that’s the case I should have been arrested long ago....all those ex-wives.....
Enjoy your freedom.
I questioned that also, but if she was called on her CELL phone, then they knew her address by the next day to show up at her house.....that is scary.
if Any doubts the person should call USSS and ask if they sent their people out
I looked at the original FR thread that was posted above. Amazing. I tell ya I am scared for our Country if this guy gets into office.
I read about this on a thread a few days ago. I also heard her on Sean Hannity’s radio show and was a bit disappointed in his response. I can understand his concern that candidates are protected and that any possible threats are checked out, but I would have thought he would be disgusted that these kind of tactics would be used. Like someone else said, he pretty much blew her off.
It's not illegal to record phone conversations - all of our telephones at my office are recorded. You may need to have some type of periodic audible "beep", or you may need to inform the caller that they are being recorded, but it is absolutely within your rights to record. You just have to follow some particular guidelines.

The culture of death vs the culture of the second amendment...
“Is it agaist the law to wish someone was dead? If thats the case I should have been arrested long ago...”
If that’s the case, the USSS would be going through Obama’s Web site right now, because My.Barackobama.com hosted an Obama supporter’s WISH that the Clintons would be “lynched” and “shot.” (She didn’t say she would do either of these things herself, though.)
Wow! I’ve never heard of something like that before. People think our country is bad now, if he gets in it is just going to get a lot worse.
"Federal law allows recording of phone calls and other electronic communications with the consent of at least one party to the call. A majority of the states and territories have adopted wiretapping statutes based on the federal law, although most also have extended the law to cover in-person conversations. Thirty-eight states and the District of Columbia permit individuals to record conversations to which they are a party without informing the other parties that they are doing so. These laws are referred to as "one-party consent" statutes, and as long as you are a party to the conversation, it is legal for you to record it. (Nevada also has a one-party consent statute, but the state Supreme Court has interpreted it as an all-party rule.)
Twelve states require, under most circumstances, the consent of all parties to a conversation. Those jurisdictions are California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Washington. Be aware that you will sometimes hear these referred to inaccurately as "two-party consent" laws. If there are more than two people involved in the conversation, all must consent to the taping."
Apparently, there are some state laws that govern this. The article does make it generally illegal to intercept or record calls to which one is NOT a party.
Great minds think alike, or something like that...
Thanks for posting. Very interesting.
You are mostly right but the devil is always in the details :)
