LA CROSSE, Wis. (AP) Some of the anger is getting raw at Republican rallies and John McCain is mostly letting it flare. A sense of grievance spilling into rage has gripped some GOP events as McCain supporters see his presidential campaign lag against Barack Obama. They're making it personal, against the Democrat. Shouts of "traitor," "terrorist," "treason," "liar," and even "off with his head" have rung from the crowd at McCain and Sarah Palin rallies, and gone unchallenged by them.
Presidential candidates are accustomed to raucous rallies this close to Election Day and welcome the enthusiasm. But they are also traditionally monitors of sorts from the stage. Part of their job is to leaven proceedings if tempers run ragged and to rein in an out-of-bounds comment from the crowd.

They won’t bother to investigate the acorn/ayers/obama plants...
Boy, ‘Off with his head’. We’re getting positively Lewis Carrollian here.
There's gonna be plenty of FLARE if Obama wins. I hope the AP and their ilk realize this.
The type of people who follow Obama wouldn't think it funny at all and would probably cut and maim anyone saying such a thing.
AP wants us to believe the Obama people are sensitive types. Nothing could be further from the truth.
There are reports that these people are Obama plants.
The media needs to be the next to go. I don't know how, and constitutionally we need a free press. But is a propaganda ministry a free press? Was Goebbels' agency a free press?
Time to shut down the internet and talk radio. The are inciting hatred among bitter, gun-clinging, bible-clinging bigots.

Hey
Guess what I am flippin angry!!!!
My friend who attended a Florida event where the “terrorist” line was uttered said he and other people were certain the person who did it was a local news cameraman accompanying a liberal reporter. I am trying to find out more details, but am convinced that these increasingly numerous “outbursts” are being coordinated by the Obama Campaign to embarrass McCain and Palin. These are NOT McCain folks shouting these things out.
“Liar” is certainly accurate.
“Traitor” is not, as Barry has never actually levied war against the United States, nor has he given aid and comfort to its enemies. The same for “terrorist,” as Barry never planted any bombs himself, even though he consorts openly with someone who did.
Mike Nifong is not a terrorist or traitor either, so why not elect him instead of Barry? He needs the job more than Barry does, noting the lawsuits that the Duke Lacrosse players have filed against him.
Hey AP, NO IT'S NOT!! WHAT PART OF FREESPEECH DON"T YOU UNDERSTAND!
CNN says NOTHING when PROTESTER equate BUSH = Hitler....
OR SOME GUY ON CNN SAYS BUSH IS A MORON...
BUT THIS FCKER get CRITICIZED and ALL of Republicans are to be BLAMED.....
FCK CNN AND THE REST FCK THEM
IM MAD AS HELL
Where has AP been all these years when democrats attacked Bush?
my thoughts exactly... and i’d bet that these are obama plants to blunt any and all future criticism.
The truth about Obama’s relationship with his former employer/mentor Bill Ayers is getting out. The Associated Press journalists Philip Elliott and Beth Fouhy don’t know how to react and are tentative about reporting the facts about this, so instead they are looking anywhere for scapegoats. I don’t recall seeing such raw, unbridled rage from supposedly unbiased journalists. Maybe the McCain/Palin campaign should get restraining orders. They are just so angry, who knows what they might do.
Isn’t it strange how AP and all the other news outlets never hear the hate spewed at Obama rallies? Very strange, isn’t it? lol....Talk about a double standard !
Is that you, Ben Burch?
That could start happening January the day after the inagural...just a matter of time
Yeah, it seems like at every stop Obama hauls out the Bush-hate red meat rhetoric at least a few times. I don’t read any shocked reports about the raw, vicious taunting in my newspaper though. It’s certainly fair game, but somehow journalists from the Washington Post, AP etc. are all of the sudden shocked that anyone would want to report the fact that Obama’s only executive experience to date has been four years as an employee of a guy who bombed the Capitol and the Pentagon.
Yet another horsesh't article from the MSM to pump up the progressives and give reporters accusations to make. Absurd.
It is accurate that I am getting increasingly angry as the market crashes. Carter, Dodd, Frank, et. al. are getting a pass and even praise for their attacks on Bush and their Proposals. How can a rational person be anything but angry?
Free Speech is under attack
Difficult, confusing times - see the financial crisis - bring out raw emotions. Violence against anyone is still a crime first and foremost. Violence against Obama is a criminal act.
That does not, however, make Obama anything else than what he is - a radical leftist. The only person who can change that is Obama.
I smell some Obama dirty tricks here. (plants) My instinct tells me something funny is going on.
Yup - now everyone on here is going nuts as McCain tries to calm things down. (So that his message isn’t drowned out).
True divide and conquer. People on here don’t realize they’re being played.
“I smell some Obama dirty tricks here. (plants) My instinct tells me something funny is going on.”
I have the same instincts that you do.
Well, we wouldn't be this PISSED off if he didn't say it.
“My friend William Ayers of the Weather Underground could only dream...”

OMG, Give me this link, this quotation is gold!!!!!
“...media Cretans...”
I think you mean ‘cretins’ unless you think Greeks from the island of Crete are after us.

Agents Provocateurs
Classic lefty tactic. They’d actually kill their own for an advantage. That might be the next trick, too. Not anybody important, just a little person or two.
.
I don’t blame ‘em.
Everybody is who fed up with the ‘ol man snoozing through this election, go to your windows, throw them up and yell, ‘I’m mad as h*ll and I’m not gonna take it anymore!’

FReep McCAIN/ MSM OUT.
HOW LONG CAN THEY IGNORE A MILLION EMAILS??

McCain is losing this campaign because he refuses to fight Obama and his lies, and dirty tactics such as ACORN voter fraud. Hes just been rolling over (or bending over, I should say) and accepting the abuse heaped upon him- and expecially Sarah Palin.
The anemic attempts by the McCain camp to fight back within the last few days just aint gonna get it.
He should have been hitting Obama back hard months ago.
He needs to get out there every day and FIGHT BACK.
Email Republican headquarters/McCain.
FReep EM OUT!
CAN THEY IGNORE A MILLION EMAILS?
REMIND McCAIN THAT HE HAS AN OBLIGATION AS OUR CANDIDATE TO FIGHT BACK!
To h*ll with bipartisian BS!
To h*ll with PC!

RESPECTFUL CAMPAIGNING WENT STRAIGHT OUT THE WINDOW WITH OBAMAS NASTY, BRUTAL COMMENTS SUCH AS;
lipstick on a pig and You can wrap AN OLD FISH in a piece of paper called change. Its still going to stink after eight years.
Take off the gloves, McCain!
Hit the Marxist/Muslim hard with Ayers, Acorn, Violation of Logan Act, abortion, 2nd admendment, Campaigning for Odinga!!
Get off the d*mned economy issue. State that Obama/Democrats/ACORN caused this meltdown. State McCain offered a proposal to avert the meltdown and GET OFF IT.
Obama is counting on keeping this going to take the spotlight off his sordid past and dirty dealings!
NOTHING is more important than waking America up to this Marxist/Muslim!! DO IT. EXPOSE HIM!
