Well, this kind of depends on which part of Kittanning. I’m sure downtown Tarrentum isn’t a bastion of Republicans, but the outlying areas sure are. Same with Leet, or Sewickely, or Wexford...Western PA is easy pickens for shaping an op-ed hit piece..

Well I already knew this..and how did I know this? I was just getting a pedicure and the TV was on CNN (I couldn’t change it). For a full hour, CNN did nothing but tell me how many people are switching from McCain to Obama. They actually read aloud one of Obama’s pamphlets aimed at white middle class people explaining all the lies coming out of the McCain camp and why whites should not fear him. The subtext was always that white won’t vote for him because he’s black. NOT ONCE did they mention the issues. I was furious.

All McCain has to do to win this region is to run ads mentioning Obama’s record on gun control and his comments about bitter, small town Pennsylvanians clinging to God and guns. These people are the folks Obama was ridiculing. I live near this area, and, believe me, the only jerks voting for Obama are the effete intellectual types who want to assuage their sense of white guilt by voting for a minority for president. They don’t even know anything about Obama. I predict he won’t win this region.
