Sean Hannity Live Thread 10/10/2008
Posted on 10/10/2008 12:20:24 PM PDT by American Quilter
I don't see a thread for Sean Hannity today, so here's one. He's doing a good job, as he has for some time, of articulating the reasons for the current economic problem.
TOPICS: News/Current Events; Politics/Elections

Aaah, are you stalking me?
To: American Quilter
Bill O'Reilly (I heard from a friend) had a great suggestion for John McCain lately. He said McCain should say that once he's sworn in, he'll appoint Rudy Giuliani as attorney general and direct him to investigate everyone who appears to have contributed to the economic mess, both in congress and in private companies, prosecute those who need it, and have them all fired, jailed, etc. He should also promise to appoint Mitt Romney as Secretary of the Treasury.
I'm no economic genius, and I have a lot of heartburn with BOR, but these suggestions sounded good to me.

Could you imagine the massive surge McCain would get if he made that announcement?Yes. Too bad he seems to have such bad judgment about his campaign decisions. Though his anti-Ayers ads in the past couple of days are improving. But I think a lot more undecided voters are concerned about the economy than about Obama's terrorist, anti-American associations and activities.

Sudden major rebound on the Dow, supposedly because of the announced G-7 meeting this weekend. Misplaced confidence in my opinion, but it's nice that the numbers have come up a bit. I have a visiting friend whose entire income is from her stock and bond income, and she's pretty worried.
Gee whiz, now it's up 300 on the day.

Friday afternoon positive spikes are a good sign, usually.
Depending on the emergency G7 meeting this weekend and what they 'decide', will have much effect on the markets next week.
