The head of Chicago's public schools on Wednesday recommended that the school board approve plans for 20 new schools, including the district's first high school aimed at homosexual teenagers.

The announcement of the schools, which are expected to open in the fall of 2009 and 2010, took place at the Chicago International Charter School's Ralph Ellison Campus. Public hearings on the proposed schools are expected before the Board of Education votes on them Oct. 22.

The proposed schools included a technology focused high schools and the School for Social Justice Pride Campus, which officials said would cater to but not focus exclusively on gay youth.

I wonder if their esteemed school expert, Bill Ayers< came up with this proposal, since Michelle Obama says anyone dealing with school reform in Chicago knows her pal Bill Ayers.

Wonder where they'll get the money from to establish this haven and recruiting center for queers?

Oh, I know. Part of the additional 75 billion dumped into the pit has the necessary earmarks.

Imagine their locker room, it would probably look more like a sundial display than anything else.

Let's tell the Muslims, and then make popcorn as they get in shouting matches.

Cheers!

Each time I think the education establishment has reached bottom, they prove there are infinite depths which are not yet explored.

But like refineries or new oil wells, it will be ten years befor these schools are up and running. The structures cannot possibly be built that quickly, because of on-going union disputes and repeated strikes in the process of construction. Then, how shall they staff these schools? Everybody shall have to be an administrator or above, leaving no money to hire teachers in the schoolrooms proper.

The children would probably gain a better and more useful vocational training in the streets, in entrepreneur skills, mechanical skills in accessing, starting up, moving away quickly, and dismantling vehicles left unattended on the street for more than three hours, and in stalking and marksmanship skills in defense of localities against all intruders.

(Do I REALLY need the sarcasm tag?)

The team will be called the Fudge Bay Packers. Will be hard to field one though as the tight ends and wide receivers wont ever get any rest. Of course they'll have to use powdered soap in the showers.

Speaking of which, remember that Harvey Milk Gay High School in NYC? How's that doing? It seems to me the opponents, or proponents, of a similar school like that in Chi-town could use HMGHS as an example.

Brilliant suggestion!

A possible benefit of this - one must look on the bright side - is that it might draw homosexual teachers away from other schools in the system and get them away from normal kids.

since they want to have their own specialty school... how about two birds with one stone?

change it to 'gay-muslim campus'

And I propose a Conservative School, a Creationist School, an Evolutionist School, an Orthodox (Christian and Jewish) School, a Jihadi School, a Hindu School, a Buddhist School, a Tibetan School, a Vietnamese School, a Korean School, a . . . ad infinitum ad vomitus.

Just one more way for liberals to cram aberrant behavior down normal people's throats.

One of the problems with Liberals, Leftists, Socialists, Communists, Marxists, and their sheeple following is that they have equated "normal" as something alien to human nature. We do have two sides to every coin. The good and the evil. The positive and the negative. The prosperous and the destitute. And then there are all the varying shadows of gray that relative-moralists use. Let's be real and know that there are no shades of gray. To get into gray areas is to get into the "opposite side of the coin" areas. Good is good and cannot be "partly good and partly evil." But evil will convince us that we can be partly evil and partly good. The "normal" side of the coin is "joe six-pack" and "hockey mom" and people who raise their children to know justice, mercy, and to walk humbly with their God/god. Not to say that joe and mom are always good, always positive, always prosperous. Yet, to say that joe and mom TRY to be good, positive and prosperous and make an attempt to teach that to their children.

For some obtuse reason, there are those who think that "being good" (or being moral or being ethical) is the way of the wimp, the wuss, the scairdy-cat. They have been duped into believing that being good means being BorIng. That to have fun and excitement in their lives means that they must be "not good" -- they wouldn't call it being evil, being immoral, being unethical. To them being exciting means being at least partly evil, negative, and destitute (in their morals and ethics).

What this has created, from my observation point, is a generation or two (or three) of very unfulfilled people. Empty people. People for whom "excitement" no longer has the adrenaline rush of "the old days." If the Liberal/Leftist/etc happens to have made a lot of money (usually through unethical behaviors . . . RISKY behavior that brings the adrenaline rush of "not getting caught") he/she then provides funds for less prosperous yet no less unethical people and groups so that they can plan risky behaviors that ultimately give the financial backer a similar adrenaline rush of "not being caught" but perhaps on a lesser scale. The farther one is from the actual ACT, the less the adrenaline rush.

What I see from the top of my tree is certain Congresspeople of less than moral character spending taxpayers money, using PORK, using legislation with an ulterior motive, to push their immoral agenda and then getting the adrenaline rush of not having anyone in Congress or the President or the Media "catch on" to the ruse. I see State Legislatures doing the same. Both groups secretly hoping that Catholic League's Bill Donohue or the Pajamahadeen or someone at FR or Hannity or Rush or other Conservatives or any of the Media catch them in the act . . . and ruin their adrenaline rush of getting away with an immoral agenda.

I see people like Soros and other unnamed billion/millionaires and Foundations funding negative behaviors, risky and sometimes damnable behaviors, in an effort not to be caught. The object is not to "do a good work" but not to "get caught in the Act while funding it." Many of us keep saying "follow the money" because we are aware of what greed can do. It's not the money, it's the love of money that is the root of ALL evil. There is no way that the Annenberg Foundation doesn't know that they are funding questionable activities. And if they had any follow up to document the outcome, they KNOW. They cannot deny it. But the object was not to have a positive outcome, but to get away with promoting their Liberal/Leftist agenda.

Anyway, that's MY observation from the top of my tree.
