Plekhanov was a menshevik and was forced into exile by Lenin and the Bolsheviks, who did not accept his idea (obviously, since Czarist Russia was advanced enough). Later in Lenin’s first Five Year Plan he partially accepted the idea of advancing through using capitalist support.

This is the latest tactic by college professors. I have a good friend who tried to explain to me the reason why Communism failed is that it must follow Capitalism. I informed him of certain nations like Cuba that had followed that plan. I also informed him that he needs to use his common sense over swallowing whatever his idiot professors feed him.
