Sen. Barack Obama “is lying” when he insists that he has never prayed in a mosque and was never a Muslim, a prominent Middle East expert and journalist says.
Daniel Pipes, founder of the Middle East Forum think tank, says he fully accepts that Obama is a Christian now. But there is strong evidence that Obama received a Muslim upbringing during his years in Indonesia, Pipes said.

Obama's being a Christian now has absolutely nothing to do with his claim that he was never involved with Islam.
The lie is that he claims never to have been exposed to his father's (or his step-father's) Islamic faith. I find that hard to believe on the face of it.
He makes this claim even though he can recite the Islamic call to prayer from memory. (I believe the reporter described it as 'with a flawless Middle Eastern pronunciation'.) In the same interview, he described the Islamic call to prayer as, IIRC, 'the most beautiful sound on earth'.
While there have been several FR threads regarding this interview, I don't recall if I have any of them bookmarked. I'll try to find a link to one of them.
Unless one were raised hearing it (and listening closely to it repeatedly), no English-speaking person would be able to accomplish that feat without spending quite a bit of time on it.
Because of that, my parents are voting for McCain.They were going to sit this one out but not now.I would bet there may be a little bit more of this going on than most people would admit.

She answered: “No, we have many Muslim members in our church.”

It’s time Americans dig a little deeper into Obama’s background.

If he should be elected, and, luckily for the Republic, die on 22 January 2011, Governor Palin would be able to serve as president, lawfully, for roughly 10 years. Which possibility is encouraging, at minimum, in that she MIGHT have the will to try to restore a decent portion of our Republic.
Give me a MORE optimistic scenario -- that might actually occur, as opposed to some Pollyannish fantasy -- than the one I posted, or cram it.

Ah there are so many reasons, let me give you a few:
1. The country has a German name, but they speak French (for me that is enough)
2. They are ruled by an absolute monarch with dictatorial powers
3. That Monarch's name is the Price von und zu Liechstenstein. For those of you who do not speak German, this may not come across as something, but let me assure you it is absurd and the man himself deserves to die a slow and painful death.
4. They are a tax haven hiding the money of Germany's rich ensuring that I pay more in taxes myself
5. It would only take two bombs.
