As many of you will recall, I, and many of you, posted several rants during the Republican primary season about the dangers of a McCain candidacy. The thoughtful consensus:
McCain would mostly ignore his base and not run as a Republican, much less a Conservative. He, and the Republican establishment, wrongly believed McCain would be swept to victory on the backs of the vast Moderate Middle.
The Media infatuation with McCain would end as soon as he secured the nomination. The Media wanted a weak candidate who did not have the support of his base to face their messiah, Barack Obama.
The Mindless Middle would be influenced by the Liberal Media. Though biased, the polls indicate McCain isn't nearly as strong among men as he should be and is trailing poorly among women, even with the Palin effect. He needs to let Sarah Palin be Sarah Palin. She'll show him how to win an election out in Flyover Country.
The only way McCain is going to win this election is tell the voters Conservative policies are the solution to problems caused by Liberal policies.
He must name names and forget political correctness. The mortgage meltdown needs to be exposed and explained, by McCain from the bottom up, not the top down. Sounds like he got a start today. He must keep going until the Media cannot ignore him. He needs to ask voters to give him a NEW Republican Congress so he can clean up the mess in Washington. The Democrats ARE THE PROBLEM, John!
Most of all, he needs to come to The Base. He needs money, volunteers, activists and word of mouth from the Base to the Undecideds in order to win.
It's time for John McCain to be a Real Republican.

Better Latte Than NeverSean Hannity Thread Eats 10/9/08
The chef is here. Good eats for everyone.
A double espresso is a 47-62.5 mL (1.5-2 ounce) extract that is prepared from 14-17 grams of coffee through which purified water of 88-95°C has been forced at 9-10 atmospheres of pressure for a brew time of 22-28 seconds. The espresso should drip out of the porta-filter like warm honey, have a deep reddish-brown color, and a crema that makes up 10-30% of the beverage. Espresso brewing is defined by four "M's": the Macinazione is the correct grinding of a coffee blend, Miscela is the coffee blend, Macchina is the espresso machine, and Mano is the skilled hand of the barista. When each factor of the four M's is precisely controlled, the espresso beverage that is produced is the ultimate coffee experience.
Cappuccino is an Italian coffee-based drink prepared with espresso, hot milk, and milk foam. A cappuccino differs from a caffè latte which is mostly milk with only a little foam, and a small part of espresso. The beverage is named after the color of the Capuchin monks habit, which is light/darkish brown with a white hood, or alternatively because the foam on the top of the drink resembles the monks white fluffy beards.

*L* He says the only reason he has a mancave is because I don’t want people to see his stuff. Personally, it wasn’t his stuff as much as it was his choice of colors. When we were painting, he chose the color and painted what became his mancave a hideous orange...blech.

Exposing Ayer’s wife, Bernadine Dohrn, she’s even more sinister than Ayers, and her sister is shown in the documetary verifying and supporting Dohrns voice on tape threatening Americans they will be attacked;
Extensive archival material, including, photographs, film footage and FBI documents are interwoven with modern-day interviews to trace the groups path, from its pitched battles with police on Chicagos streets, to its bombing of the U.S. Capitol, to its successful endeavor breaking acid-guru Timothy Leary out of prison.
