Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

'Cause when the going gets tough... (Patriotic instrumental music) the tough get going! Who's with me?

Mark Steyn? Mark STEYN?

MARK STEYN????

I don't know what to say! I always thought he would be one that would fight to the end, using his cutting humor all the way. How sad.

Steyn printed the letter of a reader then added his comment at the bottom. It’s not obvious that’s the case from the way it’s posted here. This is Stein’s comment.

Steady on. This next month is going to be a long month. Lots of things will happen. But McCain has to make some of them happen. His charge that Obama doesn’t know the difference between “strategy” and “tactics” could equally well be leveled at his own campaign.

I was discouraged last night...but then a good night's rest helped. We need to continue doing what is necessary...Talk to people, put up signs, get the truth out.

Faithless is he who quits when the road darkens.

That is going to be my tagline.

Who else is running that is better “””and”””” has a chance of beating Obama ?

I despise McPain in the Ass as much as the next real conservative. Yet any vote for the 1% of others running is a vote for OBAMINATION !

YOU know that ... Sorry I can work in same arena as we did fighting Amnesty if McJuan is elected.

All-in-all, you’re not seeing too many signs at all, ...

I don't think I'm alone in not being able to afford the vandalism.

McCain cannot win. He was a losing candidate from the start. It was unbelievable that he was selected, but the real crime was that we allowed the left to destroy our top candidates like George Allen and Rick Santorum.

McCain cannot win, but that doesn’t mean this race is over. WE can win despite him if enough of us see 0bama clearly and refrain from voting for him. Vote for Sarah. If McCain wins, she wins.

I don’t think being associated with this turkey will destroy her career. After the election, if they lose, she’ll be free to speak her mind, and we all know what kind of crowds she’s pulling. Maybe in four years she can go head to head with the chosen one himself.

When McCain gained traction as the Presidential nominee I convinced myself I'd hold my nose and vote for the man that literally destroyed the GOP and it's values.

What a Maverick!

He then brings a bright, intelligent woman on his ticket with strong conservative values and the GOP reignites, including myself.

After last night's debate I don't know why McCain didn't hit Obama hard and frequently. His performance was weak at best. If that's McCain's Maverick approach, it might work in the Beltway but not with the American people.

To top it all off he's going to have banks renegotiate defaulted loan? Say what! Sounds like nuance for public housing. We own our home free and clear and have no debt. We've worked 45 years to earn what we have in our lives. Now we are sitting here with what's left of our “nest egg” after the last month and the government wants us to “rescue” those who would prefer to live beyond their means?

My kids never wore $250 Nikes, 24K Bling, or $100 designer jeans. We didn't buy the McMansion, go to Hawaii for Christmas vacation or buy every kid a car when they were 16.
Kids only got braces if they need them and not as a fashion statement to show how much money mom and dad had. No Limos for the Prom, much less a $500 dress and a professional hair-do and make over.

I am exhausted this election! The only one that gets it is Sara Palin. Most Americans may think they are living their dream, but they are creating a nightmare. Reminds me of the commercial of the guy on the rider mower who is beside his self.

Sorry/rant off

I picked up 10 McCain signs on Monday, they were swooped up quickly, picked up 15 more yesterday. Taking orders from my neighborhood. Pins as well, they are hot.

“steady on”

Exactly.

Are we on the front line or not? Leave the despair and defeatism in the craphouse where it belongs.

Obama can’t close. Let that be our rallying cry.

And — if he SHOULD win, I hope we at least have the low class to remove all the Os from the WH computers.

Me as well...... I do not like McCain. I really like Palin ! I fought hard to keep Mcpain at bay in the primaries. Yet we have to make sure Obama stays unemployed and pissed off because he lost !

The other so called candidates are idiots yet they are not in a position to beat Obama. McPain is !

I think the “Signing Off” title was meant to be clever, as in if 0 gets elected, all the alternative pundits will be signing off.

I never put up a yard sign before, but yesterday I picked a McCain/Palin sign up at the local HQ and planted it in my yard, if only to tick off the Union zombie across the street.

I was happy to see this morning that it had survived the night.

“Hand wringers and cry babies crawl under your beds and hide, while the rest of us stand and fight the communist storm trooper terrorist appeasing thugs as they come over the walls. I would rather have an “Alamo” stand than be herded into reeducation camps or chambers filled bad air.”

THANKS....I ACTUALLY NEEDED THAT SCOLDING!

BACK TO OUR BATTLE STATIONS FREEPERS!!

Who's with me?

I'm up for pointless, stupid gesture! And if that's what voting for McCain has come down to, I'll do it anyway.

And come November 5, my NO-Bama sticker is staying on my car! Being an Auburn fan, I already hate Bama.
