GREENVILLE, N.C. – After more than a month on the campaign trail, Gov. Sarah Palin has finally taken questions from her traveling press corps.
The very brief press conference occurred on a flight from Pensacola, Fla., to Greenville, N.C., when Ms. Palin walked back into the press cabin without any warning, accompanied by her spokeswoman, Tracey Schmitt.
She worked her way back row by row, shaking hands with each reporter and saying “Nice to meet you!” to each one.
Then she answered questions on the state of the race, on the relevance of William Ayers, on the state investigation in Alaska centered on her husband, Todd, and on the recent negative campaigning.

I am a little long in the tooth and I think I remember a press, while liberal, at least publicly played down the middle (think the 50’s). I used to be a Democrat and am not any longer. I would advise any Republican official, especially one running for President or Vice President, not to have any MSM members on my plane. I would give them no interviews. They are no longer journalists and do not even portrait one. Phuk them.
Poor scribes didn’t have a chance to think up a gotcha question to trip her up. The hatred is thick enough to touch.

That hzs been a good description for my ‘yuteful’ period. Now, I suggest, they no longer buy ink by the barrel since they cannot afford it - think 8 ounce cans.

You folks are a piece of work. Palin is an idiot, I guess, but I wonder if she ever looked up at that band of light across the dark night sky and thought it was a cloud or some smoke. That’s what Obama thought when he looked up at the dark Kenyan sky. (Gee. Clouds and smoke do not emit light.) It’s in his book. (LoMF) He had already graduated from Columbia. He had lived in Kansas and Hawaii, and he had to be told that what he was looking at was the Milky Way. Yeah, he’s real smart.ML/NJ
