Barack Obama has since condemned the Vietnam war-protest tactics of William Ayers, though a top adviser said today Obama didn't know of his past when Ayers hosted a campaign reception for Obama in 1995.
So when did Obama learn that Ayers, now an education professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, was a founding member of the militant Weather Underground in the 1960s?
"It was sometime after their first meetings, you know, he became aware of that,'' David Axelrod, Obama's chief campaign strategist, said on board the Obama campaign plane on a flight from Asheville, N.C., to here for tonight's debate. "I don't know the exact moment."
Obama just was not familiar with the name when he first met him?

I always suspected the 0bama knew Ayers much longer. I mean, how many people meet for the first time in a coffee shop with someone and end up in charge of a million dollar find? Especially when they are unproven right out of college? The story is a little too sensational for me to believe.

Oh, and I’m sure Michelle didn’t know Weather Underground leader and wife of Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, who made it to #2 on the FBI’s Most Wanted List in the early 1970’s even though she worked with Michelle Obama at the law firm Sidley Austin in the 1980s.

I wish McCain would ask Obama where he got ALL his money from when he was younger - enough money to travel to Pakistan, to go to an expensive liberal college, then graduate school, then a 1.9 million dollar house and now millions more from middle eastern donors who are NOT ALLOWED to give to an AMERICAN election!
There is no way that Obama didn’t know of Ayers background in 1995. That was the same year that Ayers became his employer in the Annenberg Challenge. As an aspiring politician, if Obama had not been aware of Ayers history, surely one of his friends or family would have informed him. It was common knowledge back in 1995. Axelrod needs to be more creative with the talking points.
If he didn’t know about Ayers, it should scare the hell out of people because he didn’t find out what people were all about but worked with them anyway. The scary part would be if Obama was receiving information from the military. He wouldn’t know if he was being lied to or not. This means he would have to turn to someone else to find what he thought would be the truth. Who would that person or persons be? Who is Obama working for?
While McCain was being brutally tortured in a communist jail cell back in Vietnam, Hussein Obama was voluntarily surrounding himself with communists and their ideals all while coking it up. Meanwhile, William Ayers was carrying out communist attacks against the U.S. government and this nation’s citizens.

The Anderson Cooper/CNN report says she denies arranging the meeting, but was invited and only attended the for a short time.

He is only a couple of years younger than me and I knew who Ayers and Dorhn were and what they did. And I did not spend anytime in Chicago.

0bama’s lying through his teeth, but let’s say for the sake of argument he really didn’t know about Ayers when he went to that reception in 1995. What does that say about his judgment?
Five minutes in a local library or a single call to the Sun-Times would have turned up all the info anyone would ever need on Ayers. It’s not like his past was a secret. If Barry-0 couldn’t figure how to vet a guy who was a fixture of the local political scene, how in blazes could anyone trust this guy to make cabinet appointments, nominate SCOTUS judges, negotiate treaties, etc (I don’t, of course, but I’m just sayin’).

No, other way round...it was always reported the Palmer set up the meeting, but Palmer’s statement to CNN last night said that she merely attended the meeting and that it was planned jointly by 0 and Ayers (this time, 0 is being thrown under the bus for a change). Palmer hates 0 and supports Hildabeast.

I keep reading things like Obama repudiated Ayers ect, but when I google this all I get is Wright. Has Obama comment on his buddy Ayers?
I heard she said that story that she set up the meeting was a lie. She said she just happened to be there for a short while.

About Ayers: I’d like folks to say that may he no longer practices the violent, terroristic acts of bombing the capital and pentagon to try to enforce his radical ideals on us he has replaced the bombs with Obama. Obama is his tool/mechanism for implementing his radical concepts of social engineering, he launched Obama’s political career with exactly that in mind.
Ayers probably did ghost-write “Dreams From My Father,” but I’ve concluded that it’s not provable by forensic analysis in the time before the election....
