State officials search ACORN office in voter registration fraud probe
Agents with the state attorney general's and secretary of state's offices served a search warrant this morning on the new ACORN headquarters. The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now office is located at 953 E. Sahara Ave.

ACORN got a reputation in NOLA after Katrina. They were ridiculous with their very unhelpful activism.
You should have seen some of the houses that they demanded not to be torn down! They were rat filled piles of kindling. We laughed.
They have a huge beautiful historic building down the street. We’re all wondering now what affect ACORN has had on our neighborhood because there are a lot of families that you just wonder how in the heck can they afford to live here? Just outside the Quarter.

Go to DMV on Sahara and watch how ACORN people attack you to get you to register. Tell them you are not here legally and listen to their response. Take them up on registering to vote, fill out the form and check Republican as your party, then after completing the form, hand it back to them, go sit in your car or around the corner etc and watch and see if they don't head straight to the trash can with your completed application. The investigation team needs to go the hot spots and just look in the trash cans or trash cans behind their headquarters to see what really goes on.. ACORN and DEM LIBS=Vote Early and Vote Often, but vote Democratic only. If you can't vote "D", don't vote, they don't try to hide it. Why else would they be out there working for the man that owns the Democrat party?
ACORN's meddling in NOLA politics predates Katrina by many years. IIRC, Marc Morial was heavily involved with that organization. I wonder what became of the FBI investigation that included one of Marc's brothers? If memory serves, the FBI was very interested in one of the Morial clan and their secure maildrop at the Security Center.
It's no accident that the FBI constructed a new office building in New Orleans in the last decade - they have lots of work down there.
