LOL...so much for the old “Republicans are for the rich” tagline that is thrown around. All of the giants and those in Hollywood and the entertainment industry in general are all multi-billion dollar goons and yet somehow we are labeled as the party of the rich?

They were sacrifical lambs.

http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/09/barack_obama_and_the_strategy.html

Soros, Obama, Pritzkers, Buffett, Obama, Ayers and Alinksy.

We are witnessing a coup to steal an election and the biggest financial robbery in history.

Pritzkers and Soros are the money behind Obama. Priztkers sold half of their holdings to Buffett for about $5 billion last year. Buffett bough big stake in survivor Goldman. More importantly he is a big shareholder in Wells Fargo which “oddly” had very few ARMs or subprime mortgages.

Wells just bought Wachovia. They set this up with Fannie & Freddie, filled banska nd investment banks with worthless mortgages and set Soros and other hedge short funds off on the weak financial companies one by one - Countrywide, Indy Mac, Bear, Lehman, Wachovia, WAMU then they turned on Morgan Stanley and Goldman which rans to the SEC. Chris Cox and Paulson had no clue. This was a coup.

WTH are you talking about? Hank Paulson may be Jewish, but he sure isn't a Democrat.

Look up his contributions: http://www.newsmeat.com/ceo_political_donations/Henry_Paulson.php

Highlights: $336,000 to Republican candidates, $311,000 to conservative causes and PACs, only $13,000 to Democrats who regulated the investment banking industry.

Our folks at the marvelous RNC could be taking advantage of this fact right now.

Pointing out the Democrats get more money from Wall Street than Republicans in some ads would be nice.

McCain should start hammering Democrats as well as Obama/Biden. This would help fight the “change” mantra.

The Democrats who are considering voting for McCain already know why they’re crossing over. Who’s he going to “offend.”

Take the gloves off, John Tonight.

I agree ... NOW TONIGHT ASAP McCain needs to nail Obama with the Freddie Mac Fannie Mae contributions. One of his first questions during the debate tonight when it comes to the economy should be, “Sen. Obama can you explain to the American people how, in your very short term in the US Senate, you managed to become the recipient of the second largest dollar amount of donations from the two organizations who are most responsible for our present financial crisis?” Then follow up with a question about his association with ACORN and being a community organizer and it’s part in pressuring the bank community to give bad loans.

Henry doesn't give "all around." He gives 98% to Republicans and conservative causes, 2% to Democrats. Most everyone else at Goldman Sachs gives exclusively or almost exclusively to Democrats, so it's hard to argue with his donor history that he's anything but a Republican.

I'm not sure what Mrs. Paulson's donations or political views are nor am I sure why you or I should care. She's not a public figure as far I know, nor is she the Secretary of the Treasury. Unfortunately lots of Republicans are married to Democrat women.

No wonder even one of Fuld’s own employees punched him out at the gym the other day.

Check out Paulson’s “other” contributions more closely. Goldman money is usually to Dems, 9 to 1. The Conservation donations are not necessarily Conservative donations. I would say his money is split 50/50.

No. Not at all. I've never heard of Mrs. Paulson. Who is she and how does she affect my life? Hank Paulson, her husband, is Secretary of the Treasury and he's a Republican. A country-club New York Republican, for sure, but still a Republican.

The Conservation donations are not necessarily Conservative donations.

Not all of his non-alligned contributions were to conservatives. He gave money to the League of Conservation Voters, which mainly helps Democrats. But most of the non-aligned money went to Republicans. He maxed out to Bill Frist's PAC, Tom Reynold's PAC, Richard Shelby's PAC. He also gave $86,000 to the National Republican Senate Committee, $67,500 to the National Republican Congressional Committee, and $50,000 to the RNC.

Add that to the contributions benefiting Republican candidates and 90%+ of his contributions are benefiting Republicans and/or conservatives.

You are right. Paulson’s wife is a big Dem and Hillary supporter. His own money is prudently split 50/50 between Dem supporting PACs, Dem candidates and causes, and Republican candidates. He is known in DC as a Dem among prominent Republicans, and has appointed Dems as undersecretaries. It’s a fine line to walk in that business while in a Republican admin. when most of Wall Street and the firm your Co-CEO from whence you came are Dems. I think he does his best to appear neutral with his contributions.
