Sheriff stands by controversial comments (calls Barry "Hussein")

LEE COUNTY: Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott is standing by some controversial comments he made at Governor Sarah Palin's rally on Monday - comments already gaining national attention.

While speaking on stage, Scott referred to the Democratic presidential candidate by his full name, Barack Hussein Obama.

Those comments didn't go over well with the McCain Campaign, but Scott says he meant no harm by his remarks.

LOL! I've heard more "if God forbid" during the past two weeks than in my entire lifetime!

One of the funny scenes in An American Carol had the lead terrorist calling out "Muhammed!" and scores of terrorists jumped up from behind rocks and boulders in the desert. They did the same for "Hussein!"

Fact is, most voters do NOT know Obama’s middle name. This little tidbit would wake up quite a few. In itself it’s meaningless but it would give people pause and make them think( a novel experience for way too many).
