In his introductory speech at a Palin rally here, Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott praised the GOP Vice-Presidential candidate, but then quickly went negative, “On November 4th, let’s leave Barack Hussein Obama wondering what happened,” the sheriff said.
The crowd of thousands enthusiastically cheered the dig at Obama. Next up was conservative radio talk show host Mandy Connell who said that Obama “hangs around with terrorists” repeating Sarah Palin’s recent attack trying to link Obama with 1960’s radical Bill Ayers. The supporters again roared their approval– who got here hours before the rally almost filling the Germain Arena.

Palin is supposed to speak at 2:45..... the article says they're waiting to see if she says something about using the name "Hussein".

Oops, slip of the tongue, nothing more. I’m sure she’ll make quick mention of it and move on. If Obambi’s group throws a tantrum about it, they will appear petty. Personally it seems a little Alice in Wonderland that you’re not allowed to utter someone’s given middle name, but that’s just me.

I remember the Dems used to refer to Quayle as “J. Danforth Quayle” - his full legal name, as a means of attacking him as some rich boy country club type.
