We organized a Freep List for the first Obama vs. McCondescending-Asshole debate. As far as I know, this had never been done before. We did a great job and I learned a lot that I could use in making this and future freep list diaries more effective.
I fully expect "Mighty Joe" Biden to crush Sarah "I-Shot-Bullwinkle" Palin like a grape. One thing I will not take for granted, however, is the industriousness of the right-wing spin machine. They will be out in full force tonight attempting to alter reality and voter opinion. This is our opportunity to help counter Repug spin, engage in a little psychological warfare and perhaps even influence a voter or two, if we're very lucky.
Here are some things you need to keep in mind.
THIS IS A NETROOTS EFFORT! We need YOUR help, not simply to vote in these polls, but to help us find them! If you came here expecting me to have already done all of the work for everybody and provide a list of links directly to online polls, I'm sorry to disappoint you. I have no idea who is going to put up a poll or where they are going to put it. Besides, this is a gargantuan task. I've done my best to provide a good starter list, but it's not perfect. YOU need to find exact locations and give the rest of us updates. This is a team effort! Be patient! Not all of these sites put polls up right away. Some do. Some take an hour or more after the debate. Some may take several hours. Be patient. If you can't find a poll move on and check back.

I am against manipulating polls. Having said that, the RATS have been doing it since day one. One of the known slogans of the rat voter fraud machine is: "vote early vote often". Now we can add a new one: poll early, poll often!

Another PAID group of Democrat Blog Posters is the SOROS-FINANCED “Center for Independent Media”. (NOT SARC!)
THAT is why online polling is terribly innacurate. It is being used by Democrats to MANIPULATE OPINION. If you go online and see that “Everybody” hates Bush and the Republicans, well then maybe YOU should hate Bush and the Republicans, just like “everybody” else!

Many polls trumpeted on TV are nothing more than agit-prop, even when some of us are able to dissect them and show their flaws some FReepers will still believe the bad news.
The media’s job is to create an alternate reality where “everybody” is voting for Obama, everyone by nature wants to be on the “winning” team, it is effective and powerful. People who think the “majority” believe in the most evil or evil thoughts and policies will side with the “majority”. It is a DANGEROUS fact of human nature, Hitler wasn’t an anomoly, he was an inevitablility. Hitler will happen again, he already has on smaller scales, Hitler can happen here, it could be in a few years or a hundred years.

It’s why I say ingnore them, don’t participate, if it looks close at all, then the “victory” appears real. But if all the “polls” are 95% dim, they will soon lose their tactic.

The loons at DAILY KOS (many of them Mainstream Media types themselves) spent the last two weeks hounding and calling the major pollsters DEMANDING that they change thier Democrat Polling weights to reflect the higher Democrat Registrations.
(Thus showing Obama with a BIGGER Lead)

BTW, you never saw a harder working bunch of people than those PUMAs. In four years they’ll be four square for Hillary, but right now they are the most energetic Mccain/Palin supporters out there.
