First of all - you CAN see Russia from Alaska if you are standing in the right spot - on an island by the border.
In fact, during particularly cold seasons, you can walk from one island to the other island - from Alaska to Russia.
Even the libs at GMA proved this to be true when they flew out there (they’ll go all the way to this remote location, but refuse to go to Chicago).
As governor of an arctic state - she just might have spent more time examining the science behind the various theories.
It is always good to read opposing views - sometimes the critics and skeptics turn out to be right (I remember as a child being told we were headed for an ice age).
This idiot shows the typical liberal tendency to assume the worst about people he does not understand - to attribute motivations to them they do not have - but he would LIKE them to have- just so he can demonize them.
Remember that girl who was perfectly nice, gentle, kind and she was beautiful, a straight A student probably on a sports team.

Yes, they are clearly obsessed with Governor Palin. That's as much as they would have given to a declaration of war by the Congress.
I think it's because they see that Governor Palin is a new Ronald Reagan, a normal American who speaks directly to American sensibilities.
They can see she has a very bright political future, and the inevitability of eight years of a Palin presidency are causing collective apoplexy among the New York Times editors.
I missed the debates,but i’ve seen snippets and imo she did a good job.I think what really bothers the msm is that she relates and speaks to the middle class.Clearly a problem for the msm.

She is challenged as much or more than the average middle class American family woman, and she successfully copes while being a patriot, brilliantly successful executive, negotiator, CFO, and public problem solver. All the while remaining charming, witty, engaging, honest, warm and non eleiteist faithful and conservative.
Add in gorgeous and they all hate her because they're NOT her. It's the most enormous case of ENVY that I have ever seen.
Every one of these communist wannabe's are so jealous of Sarah's gifts and accomplishments, that they're dying to use them to further the misery of socialist lies on the world if they had them for themselves.
Just replace conservatism with Marxism and faith with secular humanism and they all want to BE Sarah Palin.
You know damn well that what all of these freaks would really like to do is have sex with her. They, in their darkest souls actually think that is all women are good for. Look how they treat their own, ie. Hillary. She’s just useful up to a point. They don’t want any woman near the whitehouse. Hypocrites.

The revolution can only succeed if enough people have been demoralized to the point that they believe government is the only thing that can save them. To them she reeks of personal responsibility and self reliance.

“Absolutely great moment (her wink at the camera)! All the little down-homeisms that Sarah Palin brings NATURALLY to this election cycle is what reaches out to people. I loved it when she gave “a shout out,” to her brother’s 3rd grade class and told them they get extra credit for stayin’ up to watch the debate. Just a really nice touch.
At the end of the day, what I like most about her (and what has literally dragged me over to casting my vote for McCain) is that she is not like THEM (not like Dems, Repubs, life-long politicians, MSM-types, Hollywood, elitists, etc.) She is like the average American—like me (no boasting in that intended).
The whole notion of changing the way Washington works is exactly what this election needs to be about... So, her wink, her “youbetcha” her “doggoneit” her “Say it ain’t so, Joe” all work for me—She sounds so different from THEM.”

Nightline did the same last night...Sarah Palin scares the radical left to death.......
They are just obsessed with her because she reminds them of the beautiful accomplished women who reject them out of hand, both the male and female editors and reporters.
They KNOW that Sarah speaks to us in a way we haven’t heard since Reagan- remember how much they hated him? The more they spew their bile, the more RIGHT she appears. They can’t hurt her, but they hurt themselves.
How much more can they do to destroy their own credibility?
They would not have a single word of disparagement about her if she were not a true threat to their game now at this late stage.
The fact is, their internal polling numbers show them that with her unbridled, day by day, they will lose percentage points and GOP will pick up and the lead will be lost, the trend reversed. One can trajectorize it over four weeks, no sweat.
So they must stop her.
Problem is, SHE IS UNSTOPPABLE, she knows the Japanese proverb: "Get knocked down seven times, get up eight." She showed us and the nation. She is remarkable. And she does it all with a firm, confident smile.
They said the same dismissive, cruel, untrue things of Reagan. They said them in a panic, which they tried to hide, but their words betrayed them. "Stupid". "Unclear". "Foolish". "Bumpkin". "All Show/No Substance".
But Ronald Reagan went right around the mainstream media to the American people and won two terms anyway.
Palin will win if she sticks ABSOLUTELY TO RONALD REAGAN'S PLAYBOOK.

I’m having a friendly e-mail discussion with a liberal relative. I spent about an hour this morning looking up Joe Biden’s tendency to lie. I came to the conclusion he was a pathological liar. What can we say about someone who smears another man’s life by claiming drunk driving caused Biden’s wife’s death?
Biden plagarized in law school, lied about how many degrees he got, lied about where he graduated in law school, plagarized his life from Neil Kinnock, lied blatantly during the Clarence Thomas hearings, and on Thursday night, told big lies about Hezbollah in Lebanon and repeated a lie about how much we were spending in Afghanistan. he also told 20 other assorted lies in the debate, including claiming you could visit a restaurant that has been closed for 15 years.
Why does the New York Times not mention that?
