ST. LOUIS –- Fox News’ Carl Cameron conducted the first post-debate interview with Sarah Palin this morning. The extensive interview went over last night’s Vice-Presidential face off, her debate prep, campaign strategy, media access and the hits she has been getting for not having more access to the media, and of course the much talked about and criticized interview she did with CBS’s Katie Couric.
Palin told Carl that she was “annoyed” at some of the interviews she has done, “Ok I’ll tell you honestly the Sarah Palin in those interviews is a little bit annoyed because it’s man no matter what you say you are going to get clobbered. If you choose to answer a question you are going to get clobbered on the answer,” Palin said. “If you choose to try and pivot and go on to another subject that you believe that Americans want to hear about you get clobbered for that too.”

She should just go for it....fight tooth and nail and if McCain doesn’t like it, screw him.

That is my sentiment exactly. I was nervous for her at the Convention until after the first 30 secs.... Then after the media and the left tried to Dan Quayle her I became a doubter again. However, after the debate performance doubter no more ever.
She is the new voice of Conservatism.
I think we will see her unleashed now. Get her on meet the Press, Sunday talk shows etc.
Look I watched the debate and said home run. I went back and watched the debate again and it actually was even better.
Does anyone really think McCain will have the balls to bring up Fannie Mae cash, Obama/ACORN, Rezko, Countrywide loans to Dodd, etc, in the debate on Tuesday? Does anyone here have good connections to the campaign to let them know that this is the only way to win?
These things are important and closely followed by you and me. Most of the country will see these scandals as Wall St. screwing Main St.
I also don't think that Obama is the "most beatable" Democrat. The media likes to make us think that people won't vote for him because he's black. Do we have any idea how many people are voting for him simply because he IS black?
We have to make the argument that people's lives, and the country will be better off with McCain-Palin. That opens issues of character, judgment, experience, etc. It's a fight of a thousand cuts.
I think he has “over corrected” because the media is waiting for him to lose his temper and get an “Ah-Ha” moment.
If he and Sarah start firing back in a controlled matter, he might get some of his base back. I, and I believe many, get pretty darned tired of Obama spouting nonsense with no response. Palin fired an opening shot today, imo. McCain was running some pretty good ads.
I don't have a clue how he will separate himself from this bailout vote. But he has been in politics for a long time. And Barry voted the same way.
