Palin Attends Post-Debate Rally
Fox ^

Posted on 10/02/2008 11:04:00 PM PDT by Chet 99

Sarah Palin roared into her rally here tonight — after her first and only Vice-Presidential debate — aboard the Straight Talk Express that literally drove into the arena. She hopped out flanked by her family: parents Chuck and Sally Heath, Todd, Willow, Piper, and baby Trig and dove into the crowd greeting several thousand supporters at the Chaifetz Arena at St. Louis University.

Palin — clearly buoyed from her debate performance — told the screaming supporters that she was talking for them at tonight’s head to head with Joe Biden, “That was quite the debate we had here tonight and I was so proud St. Louis I felt like I was speaking for you and I was so proud to make the case-so proud to make the case for the next President of the United States John McCain.”

At the end of her speech she dove back into the rope line as the Rocky theme played –- even though the highly anticipated slug fest is over.

I'm really excited to see her on Sat. in Carson, Ca at the Home Depot Center, a 16k seat stadium. I'm taking my 6 yr old daughter who is enthralled with her and Piper lol.

I'm very happy with her debate performance tonight, and hope McCain can raise his game to a new level in response. She really is spectacular, and will only grow in skill and poise with time.

I was so proud St. Louis

She got the name of the city right.

Not all candidates can make this claim.

She was firing on all cylinders tonight. Chris Matthews called her a dolt for looking at the camera, but she pulled a trick out of the Reagan playbook and had a conversation with the public.

That drives the media absolutely insane.

Her most powerful moments were: 1. when she noted that she hasn't figured out how people in DC can say they are against something, yet vote for it. 2. When the issue of Obama wanting to sit down with enemies came up, she looked right in the camera, full of emotion, and said that these people HATE America and what we stand for.

I'm not happy with John McCain at all right now. As of right now, he does not have my vote. However, Palin excites me. I just wish she could drop the Wall Street blame and go after Dodd, Frank, Schumer, Raines, and company for what they did.

Sarah totally rocked last night. It wasn't even a fair fight!

Palin & DeMint are two good examples of what I believe most people want to see in a leader. The problem with the GOP is that they have not worked hard enough to master media manipulation. The whole bailout mess is a perfect example. Dems caused most of the problems, yet the MSM has spun the whole thing as if it is the Repubs that caused all the problems and the Dems are the ones that are the heroes.

The GOP needs to make mastering media manipulation the number one priority, otherwise this country is finished. It doesn't matter how good our ideas & principles are if the media continues to put out left wing propaganda based on the Gramsci plan.
