10. REGULATION: Biden falsely said McCain weakened regulation -- he actually called for more regulation on Fannie and Freddie.
Speaking of which...has anyone seen actual documentation of Obama calling attention to Freddie and Fannie issues 2 years ago. I have seen it for McCain but not Obama.

In 2006, [McCain] pushed for stronger regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac while Mr. Obama was strangely silent. Washington Post 9/19/2008

I believe the Biden claim was that Obama sounded the warning on the sub-prime mortgage crisis 2 years ago - has anyone seen any evidence of that?

I Googled right away when he said that statement and it came up empty.
I do think Sarah missed a golden op to show O as the second highest recipient from Mae while only being in the Senate 3 years.

Perhaps he discussed the sub-prime mess with his finance chief - Penny Pritzker - the architect of preditory lending years ago for her failed financial institution under investigation.

Didn't he say he wrote a letter to The Finance Secretary? If he did before he or Biden says he “wrote this letter” he better produce documentation. I would really want to scrutinize any supposed documentation from them, too. You are right, we cannot let them fabricate their histories to fool people into believing that they are who they are not. I think often they make it up as they go along. They really don't seem to care if they get caught because they think the media will bury it. They also throw out 100 lies and figure if they get caught on a few it is worth the price. They are architects of lies.
Somehow our duty and battle is to get truth out. I think we need to flood the airwaves with documentation of their lies and remind people that these lies are dangerous and misleading.
