Thank you God for answering our prayers for Sarah to do well. In Jesus name, Amen.
Ping
I prayed for her all day and then didn’t have the nerve to watch the debate. I’m so glad to hear that she did well.
I prayed privately tonight, about an hour before the debate.
Thank you Lord.
God Bless America.
Yes!
My three kids and I had prayed and prayed again right before the debate. My teenage girls thought Palin was much more relatable and they understood her. They thought Biden droned on and on - too hard to understand (They’re 13 & 15).
I was thrilled with Palin, just thrilled. *grin*
Prayers went up for Sarah...and me, too. I was almost sick with nervousness. “Please, Lord, make the handlers stop handling!”
Jesus gave Sarah the peace she needed to be herself. She responded by being herself and that my fellow Americans is the way it is October the second, two thousand eight....goodnight
And all God’s people said...
...AMEN!!
Glad to see many do what I did for the first time in my life and that is to prey for a debate. I too rememebered to thank Gog for the blessing. He was truely with Sarah tonight.
I’ve been saying rosaries for her for several days.
Thank you Heavenly Fathers for prayers answered. In Jesus name Amen.
Thank-you God for giving Palin strength tonight.
Thank you, Jesus! Thank you for giving Sarah grace and strength!
Thank you Lord Jesus.

Thank You for working through Sarah. Thank You for giving her Your words, wisdom, understanding, discernment, wit, compassion, honesty, strength and presence. Please be with John McCain and allow him to do even better in his last two debates. Please help us, all your people, to humble ourselves and pray and seek Your face, and turn from evil, and we know that You will heal our land. Thank You God.

Amen. Our prayers were answered. Thank you, Lord, for your continued hedge of protection around the candidates and for blessing Gov. Palin with the strength and humility to live according to your will. God bless all the FReeper family for their daily prayers and thoughts in trying to make America a place worthy of God’s blessings.
I wasn’t going to watch either but I got my nerve up and turned on the TV and was VERY happy I did. I’m just elated!
Thank you God for answering prayer and holding up your dear child, Sarah Palin, tonight. We give you praise for all that You are doing and all that You have done for this great country.
Thank you, Lord, for being with Sarah in her and the nation’s time of greatest need. Be with her as she continues this campaign. Keep her and her family safe and in the bosom of your love. We pray that those who are trying to win power by the use of fraud will find their plans thwarted and their hands tied.
Amen!
Ping!
You should have watched her. She was magnificent. I also prayed for her all day, and our prayers were answered abundantly. Believe me. (She mopped the floor with Joe; not to gloat over Joe. He had the look of a man who knew he hadn’t done too well; at times there were tears, and toward the last he was white as a sheet and his face was crestfallen.)
Thank you Lord Jesus Christ and Holy Father in Heaven.
Thank you heavenly Father for your graceful answer to our prayers. Amen
My prayers were answered, except for the one where I prayed Biden would make a huge gaffe.
Amen.
He made a few.
Many of us here in Texas were praying. God Blessed us and to Him goes the glory.
Thank you Sweet Jesus for answering our prayers and pleas.
Amen
Thank you Lord for the answered prayers! Please continue to bless us on Nov. 4th! Amen
As I drove to Davis (CA) tonight to watch the debate with my Republican friends there, I prayed for her and thought about this Psalm:
Psalms 31
1 For the leader. A psalm of David.
2
In you, LORD, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame. In your justice deliver me;
3
incline your ear to me; make haste to rescue me! Be my rock of refuge, a stronghold to save me.
4
You are my rock and my fortress; for your name’s sake lead and guide me.
5
Free me from the net they have set for me, for you are my refuge.
6
2 Into your hands I commend my spirit; you will redeem me, LORD, faithful God.
7
You hate those who serve worthless idols, but I trust in the LORD.
8
I will rejoice and be glad in your love, once you have seen my misery, observed my distress.
9
You will not abandon me into enemy hands, but will set my feet in a free and open space.
10
Be gracious to me, LORD, for I am in distress; with grief my eyes are wasted, my soul and body spent.
11
My life is worn out by sorrow, my years by sighing. My strength fails in affliction; my bones are consumed.
12
To all my foes I am a thing of scorn, to my neighbors, a dreaded sight, a horror to my friends. When they see me in the street, they quickly shy away.
13
3 I am forgotten, out of mind like the dead; I am like a shattered dish.
14
4 I hear the whispers of the crowd; terrors are all around me. They conspire against me; they plot to take my life.
15
But I trust in you, LORD; I say, “You are my God.”
16
My times are in your hands; rescue me from my enemies, from the hands of my pursuers.
17
Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your kindness.
18
Do not let me be put to shame, for I have called to you, LORD. Put the wicked to shame; reduce them to silence in Sheol.
19
Strike dumb their lying lips, proud lips that attack the just in contempt and scorn.
20
How great is your goodness, Lord, stored up for those who fear you. You display it for those who trust you, in the sight of all the people.
21
You hide them in the shelter of your presence, safe from scheming enemies. You keep them in your abode, safe from plotting tongues.
22
Blessed be the LORD, who has shown me wondrous love, and been for me a city most secure.
23
Once I said in my anguish, “I am shut out from your sight.” Yet you heard my plea, when I cried out to you.
24
Love the LORD, all you faithful. The LORD protects the loyal, but repays the arrogant in full.
25
Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD.

Footnotes
1 [Psalm 31] A lament (Psalm 31:2-19) with a strong emphasis on trust (Psalm 31:4, 6, 15-16), ending with an anticipatory thanksgiving (Psalm 31:20-24). As is usual in laments, the affliction is couched in general terms. The psalmist feels overwhelmed by evil people but trusts in the “faithful God” (Psalm 31:6).
2 [6] Into your hands I commend my spirit: in Luke 23:46 Jesus breathes his last with this psalm verse. Stephen in Acts 7:59 illudes to these words as he is attacked by enemies. The verse is used as an antiphon in the Divine Office at Compline, the last prayer of the day.
3 [13] Like a shattered dish: a common comparison for something ruined and useless. Cf Isaiah 30:14; Jeremiah 19:11; 22:28
4 [14] Terrors are all around: a cry used in inescapable danger. Cf Jeremiah 6:25; 20:10; 46:5; 49:29.

I couldn’t even watch the debate. I preferred to pray instead. Praise God! I can see by the reactions that He answered our prayers tonight!
