I hope Fact-Check is paying attention to this debate and will scour through all of Joe Biden's assertions tonight, but I'll comment on just one but I think it is very indicative of Joe Biden's character.
He's talked about the neighborhood he grew up in -- now he's claiming it was Claymont, Delaware. He never lived in Claymont. His prep school (Archmere) was in Claymont. Scrappy Joe from Scranton -- he's tried to connect himself to small town America and he has to lie to accomplish this.
I know this is minor compared with the substantive whoppers he slung tonight, but I couldn't let this "minor" insight into Joe "The Plagiarist" Biden's character go uncommented upon.
Biden is still trying to defend his immoral “Borking” of Judge Bork.
Joe is a big fat Palin copy cat.
Considering that Fact Check is 0bambi based, they may notice it, but will they report it?
I’m merely curious where he lived with his parents in Delaware. (I ask b/c I grew up in N. Wilmington, making fun of the “Claymonsters.”

He lived at the corner of Wilson Road and Marsh Road. North Wilmington. My wife lived around 1/4 mile away on Silverside Road. My brothers-in-law went to Parochial School with Joe at St. Helenas.

Really!! I grew up in S. Graylyn Crest! (on Faun). That corner is now what, 3 gas stations and a Pizza Hut? And Brandywine florists where I always go when I go to weddings and funerals back home... And here I had no idea... being a Brandywine Public Sk00l grad and all.

I do strongly agree with her on the foreign oil - our money going over there and funding governments hell bent on the destruction of not only Israel - but also the US.
We have maintained our consumption on oil for over 25 yrs without it increasing and lowered pollution in the US - but taking a look at the map - the US covers only a small part on this Earth. I guess we have to send out all our aid to poor countries and stop using so much energy so the rest of the world can do as it pleases...

She did catch him several times trying to equate McCain with Bush, but was not nearly aggressive enough here. Biden probably spend 70% of him time beating up on Bush & McCain & Palin only spent about 20% of her time at most contradicting these lies.
She amazingly had nothing to say when Biden talked against a 'surge principle' in Afghanistan and then immediately talked about putting more troops there. This was a barn wall target and she ignored it.
Palin did not talk about the Congressional promise to 'end GWB's tax cuts' and how that would make 0bama a liar regarding his tax cuts. Why not?
Palin did not eviscerate Biden about 0bama's not supporting nuclear power as far as alternate energy, or that it is the only practical option for 90% of our alternate energy.
Palin did not comment on the fact that 'clean coal' is still dirtier than oil. That was a 'gimme' she missed.
Palin should have cutd Biden off at the knees about his interventionalist stance on Darfur, and his lies about the success of the surge. How could the Bush policies in Iraq be a failure if the surge is such a success? She didn't ask that of the liar.
Palin didn't talk about how Biden was ignoring the necessary input from the Iraqi government regarding a coalition withdrawal - that the US shouldn't dictate a timetable for that reason. She missed that one.
Palin didn't name names like Frank, Dodd and Pelosi regarding the subprime mortgage crisis when she had the open mic to do so. Why?
Palin didn't challenge Biden's BS about small companies and tax breaks in that there are not that many people employed by companies with incomes less than $250,000/yr. She missed that one.
Half the time, it sounded like Palin was trying to get Biden to vote for her, for chrissakes. She doesn't get that he is the committed opposition - she acted like her bulldog teeth were pulled, for chrissakes.
I could go on, but Palin clearly doesn't know how to debate a political opponent like Biden effectively. He was 75% negative and I will predict that he won't get called on it by the MSM in teh coming week.
McCain, IMO to win, you'd better figure out how to be 75% negative like Biden here in the next debate and start throwing those nuclear bombs regarding all the lies, corruption and malfeasance that are the Democrats. You need to name the names of 'your good friends' in Congress, because for sure 0bama and Biden were naming yours and those of Republicans in general.

I agree... On the “US uses 25% of the world’s oil” point that Biden and Obama claim. What is our GDP? 15% of the globe’s? Something like that. We have 3% of the globe’s population but we produce a huge percentage of the world’s goods and services and that takes energy.
These Dems are so dumb, it really makes you wonder where they got their education... Oh, yeah, I forgot about our public school system.
