Family reunions are good. At a minimum, there’s family kinda food :o)
Finally! Watch your mailbox!
This Roush Fenway Racing fan would like a PING!! (I thought I hit my Jayskis bookmark!! :-)
Food is all catered, except the desserts. :)
Can I bring some deep fried Alligator...
I know Jr fans will hate me...but he hasn't won a championship yet. I think Biffle is going to take this year...to make the first champ in all 3 series...
Does that mean you want on the Nascar ping list? We can do that...
Dale Sr was a seven time cup champion, and I'll leave it at that. There were all sorts of influences on that happening, but nobody but Dale Sr made that happen. We can pay our respects to the King, to Richard Childress, to anyone else we deem appropriate, but Dale Earnhardt drove to a seven time Winston Cup Champion. "Good" driver ? um...
I know were you are coming from...Junior, by his own choice, or just following the Earnhard Dynasty, must prove that Earnhards mean something...We shall see............
Gator would be good, but I started at the dessert table last year.
LOL, wouldn’t be the first time I ran into “family” on the net.
Wife’s father’s family were among the first settlers when Texas was still Spain.
I thought Texas was settled by Sam Huston and his family.
I gotta get to bed...
Shake and Bake
Naw, fil’s bunch came from the Canary Islands in 1731.
Anybody watching practice? Dale Jr’s right rear exploded. Backup car time.
Rumor = RUSTY TO DEI
More news at 11.
Better on the track than in the booth.
Hopefully, it was really a cut tar, like they’re claiming, and not an indication of some Indy-type fiasco brewing.
Did you guys sign up to have your name on the Dega car?
If you did go to Amp.com - Racing = Ride with Jr.
My name is on the front 8 on the roof and yes even on the back up car.
There’s a LOT of Joe Blows in the Cup Series but Jr is NOT one of them. Just because he has not won a championship does not make him unsuccesful. Let’s not forget he drove those last years for Ms E who doesn’t seem to want to spend the money on R&D and equipment. Let’s see, where did her cars finish this year so far - NOT in the Chase! The only reason Truex is still there is that he asked too much money for other contracts with other teams. When Mark Martin decided to leave that freed up 8 million which they offered to Truex to stay. After all they have no semi-star driver without him.
Jr’s 18 wins and Daytona 500 victory put him in a class that very few drivers, past or present, can boast much about. Dale Earnhardt Jr. has won exactly as many races as has Kurt Busch, who is the 2004 champion. He’s also won exactly as many races as Geoffrey Bodine, Harry Gant and Neil Bonnett.
If you don’t recognize what an achievement that is for a guy that’s been racing for nine years in Cup for full time, you don’t know your NASCAR history.
With one more win, Dale Jr. will tie Buddy Baker and Davey Allison. With two more wins, Dale will tie Jeff Burton’s current win record. Jeff’s been around a lot longer than Dale Jr. In other words, for a grossly overrated driver, Dale Jr. seems to have a pretty impressive record.
Now that he’s with HMS he’s in the Chase, and has had a couple of bad races. However, he has an owner who supports him, who is at the track and who will spare no expense to make that car work right. The bad finishes this year of which there were few were probably due to the POS COT which Eury doesn’t seem to be able to set-up to finish the race as good as when it started. Has nothing to do with the driver.
Let’s look at his stats......not too shabby for Joe Blow who is probably the richest driver and the MOST popular driver out there because his fans love his honesty and his being just the every day guy at the track. Always ready to give interviews, even after a bad day. He doesn’t run and hide like some of the others.
