Bush beat Kerry by 14 points in 2004 in TN. So McCain is ahead somewhere between 12 to 20 points so these feels like 2004 more and more at least here.

These polls are not making sense to me. How can McCain be up in WV and losing in V and now NC is up for grabs?

How can be up in Ohio and FL and down in MI?

Can anyone explain what’s the hell is going on?

You look at record turn outs for our candidates and it’s not reflected in any polls?

Oversampled “undecided” who blow with which ever way the media coverage blows. When it was all about McCain they were for McCain, now that it is all about Obama, they are for Obama.

It’s very confusing but I feel somewhat confident.

This is encouraging in that TN has voted for the winner in each Presidential election for quite a while, I think since 1960. It’s a red state but much more similar to much of the rest of the country than some of the other Deep South states.

I'm getting depressed about all these blasted polls. It seems that Obama is beating McCain everywhere that counts, i.e. Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, gosh, maybe even Indiana.

Just what the bloody hell is going on? I can't believe that Obama is winning in all these places. People are even saying that he won the debate last week, even Fox! What has happened to America that an devout Marxist and Socialist can be the frontrunner in this election? Heck, I'd even vote for Hillary over OB.

Come on America, wake up!

Living close to MTSU I won’t take much stock in their polls, you can put their polls in the same pile as those liberal alphabet polls. You know they let AL Gore teach there.

This is my first post. How very exciting. Question: I’ve been hearing ad nauseum of how the dems are ALWAYS up by 10 - 20 points in the polls at this point, yet always and thankfully lose. Is there a link to that stat? Any documentation? Thank you kindly for your help.

Something is not right with the polls we are being fed. I have been watching politics for over 30 years. If McCain is up big in TN he is up big in WV. Period

Something wrong going on here.

?????????????????????

Before I really looked at the title closely I just assumed it was another state poll showing Obama either beating or close to McCain in another state he shouldn’t be. Happy to be wrong.
