At Debate, Biden Told: Ignore Palin

As Senator Biden prepares to face off against Governor Palin on Thursday night in the campaign's lone vice presidential debate, Democratic strategists have a few words of advice for the lawmaker of Delaware: Ignore the Alaskan.

Yes.. also make some gaffs --like having FDR on TV in 1929. Also, make sure you talk to those voters in the 7 NEW states, Obama is leading in the polls there.

Please ignore Sarah, if you do it will make you & the MARXIST look like fools -- but you are anyway!!

Now, when I think about it, here’s what I think is going to happen. At some point in the debate, Biden will approach and the encroach the area around Palin’s podium. She will look sternly at him, give him the “Dubya Nod” (as Bush did to Gore in 2000), and point to his podium stating “Joe, your podium is over there, this one’s mine.” That will take a little wind out of his sail.

That Couric inquisition was where Katie also asked why Palin just got her first passport a year or two ago. No one asks about what passport 0bama used to get into Poh-kee-stan 10 years ago, U.S., British, or INDONESIAN? No one asks him to produce his original birth certificate.

Friday night McCain very seldom looked at Obama. Could tell it really irked Obama. He couldn’t stand being ignored.

Biden won’t be able to not look at Sarah. One smile from Sarah and he’ll be ogling her all night.

  You're being a tad bit misleading.  The 49th GMD is permanently activated and assigned to the 100th Missile Defense Brigade and the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command.  Ask any member of the guard what the term permanently activated means as far as the chain of command is concerned. Governor Palin does not command them.  I wish she did, but she doesn't.

The 3rd Battalion, 297th Infantry Brigade, Alaska Army National Guard when deployed to Iraq was still AKNG, but they were not reporting to the governor either.

I have to wonder that the drive-bys may be doing Palin a big favor by severely lowering expectations.

I find it hard to believe that she will collapse. she’s been preparing for this for a month.

I just hope they give her some latitude to attack Biden and Obama. If she does that she will make me very happy.

Biden is going to attack McCain in the debate and Governer Palin needs to smile and say sweetly, “Mr. Biden seems to be confused again. He thinks he is debating Senator McCain!”

If the McCain camp loosens the reins and lets Sarah be Sarah. If they put too many rules and restrictions on her she will come off stiff and unsure of herself.
