I hope all of yall realize the Biden family has part of the nation since the very beginning. His great, great, great grand father got off the plane at Plymouth Rock, you know. The good old days when airfares were a haypenny.

Just cut Couric out. She's a two-fold problem. Her employer no longer had any confidence in her anyway. She's now a wounded predator and could be dangerous.
A barred door is what we need between her and any Republicans.

With all his experience in public life and in all the recent debates, he still has to be coached by his advisors on how to handle himself -— with a newcomer????
And HE might be a heartbeat away from the top job? Heaven help us!

That's an F-22 Raptor escorting that TU-95 and the AKANG does not have Raptors. However, the 11th AF 90th Fighter Squadron out of Elmendorf does have Raptors and Sarah Palin apparently vists them at times. Only problem is, she doesn't run the 11th Air Force. She did dispatch the AKANG to hurricanes Ike and Gustov in the last month & the Air Guard does from time to time run into Russians and escorts them out, but not in your photo.

She needs to dig in:
"Senator Obama puts up a phony front about how he doesn't have anything to do with lobbyists, but when he chose Joe Biden for VP, Senator Obama chose a man who used his position as Senator to set up his brother and two of his adult children in the lobbying trade.
Senator Obama selected a man who throughout his career has made a practice of keeping his many millions in earmarks secret from the American people.
Keeping the American people in the dark about what is going on in the cloakrooms of Washington is not good government. It is certainly not reform. -----But it is what we'll get with Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

I wonder if they’re having Tina Fey debate in the nude to help Joe practice ignoring her. Oh, to be a fly on the wall ...
To: dusttoyou
It was on Palintology.com, but it looks like they’ve taken it down now. Guess they didn’t want Biden to know what he was up against.

I hope that Biden DOES try to "ignore" Sarah.
It's a very different dynamic than a man-to-man ignoring.
Biden will be perceived generally/uppermost as being DISMISSIVE TO WOMEN.
Go for it, Joe. I will LMAO at you. IGNORamus.

I never said the F-22s or F-15s were Guard. I was just adding color to the comments about Russian bombers. Read my posts 33 and 38 on the AKNG's role in the defense of Alaska and the nation.
The U.S. contribution to the staff of the Alaska NORAD Region Air Operations Center is provided by the AKANG's 176th Air Control Squadron. So there is a Guard role in those intercepts.
Similarly, the AKNG's 49th Missile Defense Battalion controls the U.S. Army's Ground Based Midcourse Defense site at Ft Greely.

My thought exactly.
There is very little originality in the Obama campaign that doesn't result from the actions of the McCain campaign.
Of course, that happened with his interaction with Hillary. She gave the answer (however goofy it was) and he would spin, making it sound like his own idea.

"His goal is to ignore Palin and focus on connecting with voters sitting in their living rooms by making clear he is indeed one of them an uncommon, common man," a Democratic strategist who served as an aide to Vice President Gore during the 2000 campaign, Christopher Lehane, said. The nice thing about pretending to be an "uncommon common man" is that you can say it backwards and it means the same thing. Of course, one could count on Biden to call himself an "unman common common". He did real well in coal country with his verbal gaffes. His best approach would probably be to walk out on the stage and immediately place his foot in his mouth - he'll show great flexibility for a man of his age.
He isn't going to ignore Sarah Palin - they're probably telling him the opposite anyway, but even if he tried, she's not one to ignore especially when she starts tearing him apart on his home turf. His previous world-affairs statements will soon come back to haunt him. :-)
